Maximo questions Eduardo about the tension between him and Miranda after noticing their silent treatment toward each other. Eduardo blames Maximo for causing the misunderstanding by revealing the truth about his past with Elena to Miranda.
Maximo explains that he only did so because Miranda was becoming suspicious, and he assures Eduardo that their remaining secret will stay between them. Meanwhile, Elena tries to comfort Samuel, who is still disturbed by the truth. Samuel asks if she still intends to tell Eduardo everything, but Elena says she is no longer bothered.
She explains that after everything that happened, she moved on, got married, and had Samuel, whom she is content with. She even jokingly tells him how strong she has become, while Samuel promises to always support and take care of her.
At the office, Isabel and Franco are working when Franco insists they take a lunch break, but Isabel prefers to continue working. They notice Mona and wonder how she got the job there, as Franco assumed she was still at the plantation.
Gonzalo arrives and, seeing Franco’s insistence on lunch, tells Isabel to go with him, and she reluctantly agrees. Miranda and Eduardo later resolve their misunderstanding, with Miranda admitting she feels insecure because she loves him deeply.
She tries to ask more about Elena, but Eduardo assures her she already knows everything and promises there will be no more secrets between them. Samuel brings Mona her lunch and promises to pick her up after work. He sees Isabel; they exchange looks, but Samuel walks away angrily without saying a word, leaving Isabel confused.
During lunch, Franco notices Isabel is not eating and asks why. She explains she saw Samuel, and Franco assumes Samuel did something wrong. Isabel clarifies he did nothing, but his attitude is what frustrates her, as he ignored her despite him offending Gonzalo.
Franco, hearing that Samuel was rude to Gonzalo, immediately speaks negatively about him. Meanwhile, Mona teases Samuel about Isabel ignoring him, but he insists he is the one who ignored her. He changes the subject and asks about the Miravelez harvest, and Mona shares what she has learned.
Later that evening, Eduardo visits Samuel to apologize for Miranda’s behaviour. Samuel also apologizes for coming to his house instead of his office. Eduardo promises to address the workers’ concerns. Before leaving, Samuel mentions that he knows everything about Eduardo and Elena.
Eduardo is shocked and almost speaks further about his past with Elena, but Elena arrives and interrupts, explaining to Eduardo that she already told Samuel she once worked for the Hidalgo family and was sent to jail. Eduardo remains silent.
Samuel defends his mother’s innocence, but Elena stops him, saying it is all in the past.
Eduardo also dismisses it as a closed matter. Maximo later warns Miranda to be more attentive to her husband, reminding her they now have everything and cautioning her not to risk losing it.
Miranda has Eduardo followed and later questions him about his movements. Meanwhile, Elena expresses concern about Samuel confronting Gonzalo for the workers, but Samuel believes he is doing the right thing and hopes Eduardo will eventually support them.
The next morning, Miranda asks Eduardo about his whereabouts the previous night. He tells her he only visited Samuel to apologize. After he leaves, Maximo questions Miranda, trying to make her doubt Eduardo’s explanation.
At the office, Isabel distributes snacks to employees when Gonzalo calls her to his office, questioning her about Franco’s whereabouts. He tells her she should focus more on Franco than the employees, believing she is neglecting him.
Isabel becomes upset, realizing she was only placed in the office to stay close to Franco, not because of her abilities, and she walks away in tears. Later, while walking with Franco, Isabel admits she feels suffocated and confused about why she always ends up with him.
Franco offers to help, but she is unable to explain. She then sees her father inside a car with another woman, leaving her devastated. Samuel and the workers meet to plan their next steps, warning each other to remain cautious.
Isabel returns home late, where Gonzalo questions her about Franco. She defies him, asking about the woman he was with and accusing him of disrespecting her mother. In anger, Gonzalo slaps her.
Rebecca rushes to Isabel’s side, while Gonzalo dismisses her and leaves. Rebecca admits she has always known about Gonzalo’s behaviour and stayed for Isabel’s sake. Isabel urges her mother to leave, but Rebecca refuses, insisting on keeping the family together.
Distressed, Isabel packs some belongings and leaves home. Rebecca later discovers she is gone and informs the servants and Gonzalo.
Isabel is later found roadside by Mona and her sister. She explains she has run away and has nowhere to go, asking to stay with them.
Mona hesitates due to fear of consequences, but Lupe eventually agrees and took her to Samuel’s home. When Isabel realizes where she is, she refuses to stay and leaves immediately. She complains bitterly about Samuel and insists she would rather be in the fields.
Samuel later finds her lost and struggling to breathe in the fields. She hugs him, and he comforts her. When she regains composure, she questions why he is there. He says he came to help, but she initially refuses. Eventually, she agrees to go with him.
Samuel takes her home, where Elena and Trinidad welcome her warmly and give her clean clothes. Isabel thanks them, though Samuel complains about her reluctance to thank him, and she eventually does.
Rebecca blames Gonzalo for Isabel’s disappearance, while Franco confronts him, insisting Isabel should not be forced into anything and that she loves him. Gonzalo disagrees and insists Isabel does not love Franco.
That night, Isabel struggles to sleep after refuses Samuel’s mattress. Samuel teases her, and they exchange emotional words, with Isabel insisting he does not understand her anymore.
The next morning, Elena prepares food for Isabel, who plans to leave. Samuel helps her fetch water, but she slips when trying to do it herself and sprains her ankle. He carries her, assuring her he will not let go.
While treating her injury, Samuel questions why she came to their home instead of going to her boyfriend’s, Franco. Isabel insists she has nothing to do with Franco.
Elsewhere, Franco continues searching for Isabel, while she expresses frustration that everyone assumes she is involved with him. She feels trapped by her family name and pressured to conform. Mona later tells Franco she has not seen Isabel after telling her aboutIsabel’s disappearance wondering if she’s seen her.
Maximo and Eduardo discuss Elena’s situation, at the same time, Elena is taken by police with Lupe going with them, while Eduardo believing the matter has been handled. Maximo advises him not to forget the lessons of the past.
