Damian and Diego Outsmart Their Foes. In the Midst of the Ardientes’ Cruel Game, Lily Escapes with a Vengeful Fury.
The episode begins with the Ardientes taunting Lily and Camia over their disheartening situation. When Helena is notified of a new development, she switches up the screens to bring up the duel between Diego and Damian.
As Damian continues to urge Diego to k!ll him, Diego asks for assurance that Lily will be saved once he gives them what he wants. Helena promises so as Lily cries out in despair, cursing at the Ardientes.
Everyone is shocked as Diego proceeds to shoot Damian. Damian gets hit in his side and falls down. But of course Helena doesn’t hold up to her end of the bargain as she orders Romulo to switch on the incinerator and gradually turn up the heat to burn Lily.
Lily cries out in pain as the heat starts to take a toll on her, pleading for her mother to be spared. However, Romulo amps up the heat per Helena’s order. Arnaldo seems distraught for some reason as he observes with his sinister family.
He gets worked up and asks for them to stop, saying that Lily deserves an even worse and slow death. Agreeing with him, Julio orders Romulo to turn off the incinerator, much to Helena’s chagrin.
Later, Helena whines about Julio’s interference, telling him that he needs to learn to compromise as her partner. Julio retorts that Arnaldo is right and Lily can’t simply die by fire; they’ll toy with her mind and make her suffer until she can no longer take it.
Diego calls out to the Ardientes, demanding for Lily’s return, and Magbanua shows up with some lackeys and they surround him and knock him out from behind.
In the meantime, Emilia whines about how Arnaldo had stopped them from k!lling Lily. She accuses him of still being in love with her and Arnaldo admits so. He recalls how Lily made a fool of him, vowing to make her pay dearly.
Recalling what Julio put her through in the past, Helena gets quite emotional with Emilia. Magbanua has his men take Diego somewhere while awaiting further instructions from the boss.
Ironically, as Ana continues with organizing the pointless search for Lily and Camia, Arnaldo suddenly shows up and puts on quite the act, feigning Innocence and concern.
Bro even promises to find Lily and bring her back home safely. Speaking of, Lily wakes up to find that all of the chains and restraints have been broken.
Determined to save her mother, she makes use of a rope to climb into another part of the building where she finds her mother and reunites with her. Hold your horses cause this all turns out to be a dream as Lily wakes up for real this time and breaks down.
Helena can’t seem to understand the point to the torture as she’d rather just k!ll Lily. Julio however tells her to enjoy the show just as Arnaldo rejoins them, as gleeful as his grandpa.
Lily desperately tries in vain to break free as the Ardientes watch with amusement. She calls out to her mother who’s confined in one of the rooms.
When Diego regains consciousness, Magbanua and his men taunt him.
Upon receiving confirmation to go ahead and k!l him, they train their guns on Diego, with Magbanua asking if he has any last words. Just then, Damian storms into the room, gun blazing and he takes out a handful of the goons.
Diego disarms Magbanua before he can react. A flashback reveals how he had convinced Damian to work together with him to save their løved ones. Diego had then come up with an elaborate plan to outsmart the Ardientes.
At present, the duo interrogate Magbanua about the whereabouts of Lily and Camia but the guy insists that he has no idea. Lily continues cursing and rage baiting the Ardientes while still struggling to break free.
Romulo comes over to taunt and mock her and the Ardientes are shocked to see her suddenly break free and attack Romulo. It’s back and forth for a while but as expected, Lily dominates Romulo.
Julio desperately makes use of the remote to shock her, and Romulo recovers and attacks. Lily fends him off and manages to remove the electronic collar from her neck.
She makes Romulo wear it and she kicks him just as Julio presses the remote again, but this time with a vengeance, ultimately k!lling Romulo. The Ardientes watch in dismay as Lily escapes and stealthily takes out a couple of their men.
Lily proceeds to search for her mother who occasionally calls out to her. She closes in on her location, only to find nothing but a speaker and that’s where she heard her mother’s voice coming from.
In frustration, Lily kicks the damn thing and shoots out all the cameras, demanding for her mother.
