Helena Joins Forces With Julio, Much To Emilia’s Chagrin. Lily Finds Renewed Strength & Hope To Continue The Fight.

Jepoy arrives at the mansion to find Ana and Marlon standing outside and talking about Lily. He carries on inside without a single word.

Diego unlocks the door to the study and hurries inside with Camia and Damian. They behold the mess Lily has made of the place as Jepoy joins them.

As Camia tries to talk to her daughter, Lily laments over how everything they’ve done has amounted to nothing. She’s sick and tired of all the efforts and sacrifices for justice having gone down the drain.

Fed up with how the criminals keep escaping the law, Lily considers taking matters into her own hands and unleashing her own brand of justice.

However, Camia talks her out of it and urges her not to give up the good fight. Lily strengthens herself and decides not to give up for the sake of the people of Ardiente.

In an interesting turn of events, Julio organizes a press conference to unveil his reunion with Helena, with their daughter at their side. As Arnaldo waits in the study for his grand entrance, he drums on about how they’ve taken care of the townspeople.

He then whines about the numerous crimes their enemies have been trying to pin on them. Apparently, they, the Ardientes have never any wrong to anyone.

Julio calls for the townspeople to unite with them against their detractors. Lily and her camp watch the entire show on live TV.

After the press leave, Arnaldo comes down to congratulate his grandparents for putting on such a great performance. Emilia who had been taken by surprise, asks how her father was able to get her mother released.

A series of flashbacks reveal that Julio had sent Magbanua and his men to subdue Myla (the witness), buy off her silence and run her out of town.

They had then beaten up the deputy governor Matteo and warned him never to return to Ardiente in order to prevent him from betraying the Red Dragon out of spite for Julio.

Eventually, Julio had bribed the judge with a billion in cash to get Helena’s case dismissed. At present, Helena flirts with Julio which irritates Emilia.

The men of Jaguar Raul begin to get worried about their operations now that the Ardientes have grown more powerful with the Red Dragon on their side. One even suggests forming an alliance with them.

However, Raul states that the new development doesn’t change anything. They will accomplish the sole purpose of their group – bringing down the Ardientes.

Meanwhile, Diego encourages Lily in his own way and she takes comfort in him. Raul confronts Emilia for keeping him in the dark about what’s been going on in their family.

Julio observes with Arnaldo, thinking that Raul is after his share of Helena’s wealth. He states that they need to do something before he outsmarts his mother again. Arnaldo is all game.

In the meantime, Raul vows to find out what the Ardientes have been planning. Lily and Diego meet up with Agent Salonga and the latter confronts him for letting Helena go in spite of all the evidence they had against her.

Salonga argues that it was the judge’s decision and the case was out of his hands. Moreover, he’s not a vigilante so he can no longer pursue the case.

Lily intervenes as an altercation ensues. After Salonga leaves, she vows to find the hidden wealth which the Ardientes had stolen from the people.

Since the authorities can no longer do anything, Lily will bring the Ardientes to justice with the law of Lily Cruz. Raul tries to approach Julio but ends up taking a beating from his men.

Once he’s subdued, Julio lashes out at him and declares that he’s disowning him because he’s useless to the family. Raul reminds him that he’s still married to his daughter and Arnaldo is his son.

Arnaldo taunts him with a glass of drink before Julio has his men drag him away. Later, Julio and Arnaldo discuss how they would be able to get to Helena’s hidden wealth. Arnoldo mentions that they can use Emilia.

Speaking of, Emilia questions her mother’s alliance with her father. Helena relates with her and agrees that Julio can’t be trusted. She states that she needed his help to get out of prison.

She then puts Emilia in charge of protecting her hidden wealth so they would be able to push through with their plans to rebuild her kingdom.

Meanwhile, Jepoy makes a pretty pathetic attempt to reconcile with Ana. Ana lashes out at him, saying that he wouldn’t have hurt her in such a way if he really løved her.

Lily walks in on the scene and after Ana leaves, she urges Jepoy to give her some space since what he did was wrong on so many levels.

Sometime later, Lily initiates her plan against the Red Dragon. She sends Jepoy off with some of her men and asks her uncle to take good care of her mother.

Diego assures Lily that from now on, they’ll face everything together. They profess their løve for each other, and Camia and Damian look on as they hug.
