The Aftermath of the Red Dragon’s Escape Unfolds. Lily Remains Determined to Accomplish Her Mission. Emilia Receives Shocking News.
The episode picks up right from the moment where Lily is holding onto the landing gear. She eventually has to let go and drop down to safety as agent Salonga and his team arrive on the scene.
Helena gloats as the chopper flies away, unhindered by Lily’s desperate shooting. News of the report of the Red Dragon’s escape is soon reported on TV.
The members of the syndicate have all assembled watching the live broadcast and as Diego starts to leave, Romulo asks where he’s going. Diego retorts that he doesn’t answer to him and with that, he carries on.
Following Helena’s escape, Agent Salonga decides to track down the car that had attacked them earlier and helped her. Jude (Salonga’s partner) argues that it’s better to go after Helena herself but then Lily seconds Salonga.
When Jude whines that she shouldn’t interfere with police business, Lily retorts that she wouldn’t have to if they were competent enough. After getting off the phone, Mercedes tells Romulo and the others that the big 4 want to organize a meeting.
A curious Emilia presses for details as to who they are and she’s told that they’re the leaders of the operations in the North, South, East and West. Jepoy and Ana begin to get worried when they realize that Arnaldo has suddenly disappeared.
In the meantime, Lily meets up with Diego to inform him about the truck that attacked the NBI, confident that they’ll be able to uncover who helped Helena escape once they find the vehicle in question.
Emilia taunts Mercedes with how she would soon take over her position and become the boss in her mother’s absence. Arnaldo is revealed to be in the company of his wretched grandpa at home and we all know nothing good is going to come of it.
Diego doesn’t waste time as he begins to investigate the pickup truck. He finds a dismantled license plate hidden somewhere inside the car.
At the precinct, Lily cautions Salonga against his partner, suggesting that he should have him investigated or report him to their superiors.
Coming upon the scene, Jude takes offense and begins whining about how he had no hand in Helena’s escape. Lily scoffs at him and merely tells Salonga to watch his back.
Once Diego connects the dots and figures out that the pickup truck is owned by an event company of Jude’s mother, he delivers the evidence to Lily. It doesn’t take long for Lily to confront the rotten officer about his betrayal.
Jude pulls a pathetic stunt to escape the agency and Lily purses him together with Salonga and his men. Eventually, they cut off his escape and arrest him.
As the big 4 begin arriving one by one, Emilia makes it her mission to bond with them and gain their favor. Ironically, Natalie comes as a plus one of one of them.
Salonga has Jude restrained in a room and as they interrogate him, he insists that he’s not in cahoots with the Red Dragon. Lily rewards him with a dirty slap. Emilia establishes the fact that neither of the 4 helped Helena escape.
Talk of her replacement comes up and Emilia jumps at the chance, declaring herself the rightful heir, much to the chagrin of everyone. Mercedes proposes a voting.
Natalie doesn’t pass up the chance to give some mockery remarks. Diego quickly goes through some privileged documents of the syndicate, unbeknownst to him that Romulo is spying and recording him on phone.
Meanwhile, Lily strives to get information out of Jude. The wretched officer reveals that there’s nothing they can do because the Red Dragon has already left the country.
Without warning, he charges at a nearby officer and swipes his gun and Salonga is compelled to shoot him. During dinner at home, Julio doesn’t pass up the chance to taunt Emilia over her situation.
After he leaves, Helena calls Emilia to inform her of her decision to make her the new leader of the organization. Emilia is taken by surprise. Once off the phone, she gloats and enjoys her meal.
