Lily Clashes with Helena, Taming the Red Dragon. A Shocking Tragedy Provokes Diego’s Wrath & Vengeance Against the Ardientes.
Lily composes herself while Helena continues to taunt her, stating that she had prepared the snake for her because it’s her favorite, according to Emilia. A face-off and a battle of words ensues over their conflicting personalities.
Sanggano takes the sick pleasure of enjoying Pandoy and Loring’s food while they wait for Diego. After calling Julio on the phone to update him, Sanggano leaves his men behind and heads outside to find Diego and finish him off.
While Lily and Helena continue with their contest of words, Pandoy and Loring take advantage of an opportunity to escape. They’re halfway through the woods when they spot Diego from a distance.
As they call out to him, Sanggano rears his ugly head and takes sick pleasure in gunning down the elderly couple. Diego fails to get to them in time. Devasted, he attacks Sanggano and beats him up relentlessly.
The tables turn when his men come to his aid. Having restrained Diego, Sanggano tries to finish him off but tough luck cause he’s run out of bullets. He escapes with his lackeys as they hear people approaching.
Diego crawls over to his fatally foster parents, and he cries out for help. Helena leaves the room for a while and when she returns, she catches Lily rummaging through her things.
She calls her out and it’s then that the masks come off. Lily faces off with her, scrutinizing her for masterminding the b0mbings of her buildings. Helena retorts that she’s also responsible for sabotaging her shipment.
She tries to stab Lily with a needle-like weapon but Lily overpowers her and gives her a good scare before leaving. When Sanggano returns with bruises on his face, Julio blows a fuse and lashes out at him for failing the job he gave him.
At the hospital, the doctors make futile attempts to save Pandoy and Loring. Diego mourns his loss as he recalls their last memory together. Recalling how they had been mercilessly k!lled, he vows to have his vengeance.
Following the encounter with Lily, Emilia worries about her mother and tries to go and see her. She’s obstructed by Mercedes per Helena’s instructions. Emilia leaves quite upset, but not before making a scene and throwing threats Mercedes’ way.
Helena summons Mercedes and gives her the job of k!lling Lily. Arnaldo can’t seem to stop thinking about Lily. His attempts to stop himself doesn’t exactly go according to plan, breeding frustration and confusion.
Lily arrives at the hospital with Camia and Jepoy to ask about the condition of Pandoy and Loring, only to learn that their bodies have already been taken to the morgue. She gets worried sick about Diego and figures where he might have gone.
Speaking of, Diego storms the Ardientes to confront Julio in a fit of rage. Lily soon arrives with the others and she strives to reason with him. Inside, Julio gloats for a while before coming out to face Diego.
He plays dumb and denies having any hand in the mürders of his foster parents. Diego snaps and pounces on him. He strangles him for a while before the guards pull him off. Police arrive on the scene to restrain him.
Raul shows up and comes to his son’s defense. The altercation is reignited with Emilia’s meddling. Lily faces off with her and calls out Julio for what he did. And of course the wretched old man denies it again but who’s he fooling.
Later, Liky strives to convince a bloodthirsty Diego not to take matters into his own hands, promising to help him get justice. Stating that there’s no true justice in the wretched town, Diego declares that he’s going to k!ll the Ardientes. All of them.
