Prima Donnas Episode 8

Mayi Navigates Danger & Compassion In the Claveria Mansion. Ella & Lenlen Face Hardship in the Syndicate’s Grip. Brianna’s Deceit Deepens.

Jaime sees through his so-called daughter’s act and he dissolves the issue and dismisses Marie and Juday. He then gives Brianna a talking to and she offers an insincere apology.

Ela (Donna Belle) and Lenlen (Lyn) suffer at the hands of a syndicate as they’re compelled to work in their drug laboratory, alongside other kids. At some point, they refuse to work anymore and that almost gets them into trouble with the goons watching over them.

While Marie reflects on some memories with her sisters, Brianna whines to her mother about how Mayi Marie irritates her. Kendra lectures her, urging her to just ignore her to avoid problems. Still in captivity, Ella and Lenlen reflect on how they had fallen victim to the syndicate.

Juday takes Mayi along to clean Jaime’s study and she leaves her alone to attend to something. As Mayi verbally admires a framed photo of the late Maita, Jaime comes upon the scene and  observes.

Mayi’s heart aches with compassion as she wishes for Jaime to find solace and happiness, hoping the void left by his wife’s passing would one day be filled with peace and love once more.

When she notices Jaime’s presence, he commends her goodwill. Mayi goes on about how she misses her sisters, and Jaime asks her name. Before she can reply, Brianna interrupts, rearing her ugly head to bring her father a cup of coffee.

At the drug lab, Lenlen and Ella plan to escape. Brianna ups her game by complaining to her grandma about Mayi, accusing her of trying to get close to her father with ulterior motives. Lady Prima promises to put her in her place.

In his study, Jaime reflects on some memories with Maita and Lillian. Later, as Mayi cleans the place again, Prima confronts her and warns her to stay away from her son. Brianna picks on Mayi again in such a pathetic way.

As Kendra later tries to talk to her to tone it down, Brianna throws her shade. Kendra then gives her a reality check. Meanwhile, Jaime gives Mayi (Marie) some money as a token of his appreciation for doing a good job in his study.

Lady Prima notices and once Jaime leaves, she confronts Mayi again. Lenlen takes advantage of an opportunity to slip out of the warehouse, only to run smack into one of the goons outside.
