Arnaldo Changes Drastically. The Red Dragon Strikes Aguas Realty. Lily’s Heroic Averts Disaster. Emilia Seeks Answers.
The episode begins with Jaguar/Damian asking a lackey of his for updates on the bombings on Aguas Realty. He’s told that there’s a high chance that the Red Dragon is involved.
Julio asks one of his men to keep a close eye on Emilia since he suspects that she’s connected to the bombings. Emilia gloats over Ivy’s misfortunes as she dines with Mercedes.
Julio also dines with Arnaldo and talks to him about his plans to have him return to politics. He almost chokes on his drink as Arnaldo reveals his intention of quitting politics to become a priest.
At Aguas Realty, Mr. Paterno tells Lily about a potential investor for the company. Lily insists that she would need to know who it is because she doesn’t know who’s trying to tear apart her company.
Mercedes reaches out to Jaguar/Damian, telling that the Red Dragon has declared war on Lily and she needs her best lieutenant. Jaguar asks why the Red Dragon is going after Lily and Mercedes doesn’t give her much to go on.
Upon his return home, Damian becomes determined to save Camia and the family from the world ensuing danger. Mr. Paterno talks to Mercedes on the phone and it becomes quite clear that they’re in cahoots.
Desperate to have his old grandson back, Julio talks to the doctor to whip up some kind of miracle. Just then, he overhears something going on outside and what does he find? His beloved grandson preaching to the workers.
Exasperated, Julio dismisses everyone and gives Arnaldo a talking to. Mercedes sends her associate to Aguas Realty to blow up the place, in the guise of going to see Lily for business.
She’s dumb enough to send Mila, the same woman she contracted for the bombing of Lily’s media complex project. Mr. Paterno gets the woman through security but fortunately, Lily recognizes her and chases her.
She catches up to her at the parking lot and confronts her, leading to a fistfight. Lily bests Mila without much of a hassle, showcasing her exceptional fighting skills and resilience.
She pins her to the wall and demands to know where the bomb is. Lily backs away when Mila opens her jacket to reveal a bomb strapped to her waist.
Mila takes advantage of her shock to get in a sucker punch. However, Lily recovers and knocks her out. Lily sounds the alarm for the bomb squad to be called and the company to be evacuated.
Somehow, she manages to diffuse the bømb in the nick of time and she makes a futile attempt to compel Mila to fess up about who put her up to it. Mila laughs wickedly as the police take her away.
The incident is soon reported on the news. Jepoy lies in bed with Natalie who gloats at Lily’s unending misfortunes. Julio looks forward to befriending this new enemy of his enemy.
When Ana calls Jepoy, he decides to head over to the office and Natalie tries to manipulate him into doing her bidding. At Aguas Realty, Lily updates Diego and her mother about the suspect, only for Jepoy to show up and claim that the Ardientes are the ones behind the bombings.
Ana notices a bruise on his neck. When she later asks about it, Jepoy claims it’s from gunpowder.
Ana however sees right through him and gives him an earful for fooling around when they have so many problems to deal with.
In the meantime, Lily talks to Diego about the information she found on Mila, determined to get to the bottom of the attacks. Emilia sets out to confirm her mother’s involvement in the recent incidents.
Mercedes’ response is that she’ll find out when the time is right. The next day, the Ardientes are besieged with worry upon discovery that Arnaldo is nowhere to be found.
Julio orders his men to find him before their enemies get to him and k!ll him. While Mercedes assures Helena that they’ve tied up loose ends, Lily heads over to Mr. Paterno’s place with Diego. They find the housekeeper dead and Paterno too.
With the search for Arnaldo unproductive, Emilia unleashes her frustrations on Julio and decides to seek the governor’s help. Meanwhile, Lily searches Paterno’s house with Diego, and she finds a memo with the name Mercedes Palacio.
