Andres Takes A Stand for Isabel & Learns the Truth About His Brother. JB Saves His Father from Assassination.
Andres runs into Max as he takes Isabel to safety. When Max asks him to let Isabel go since they have a contract to fulfill, Andres hands her the hard drive and carries on with Isabel. Meanwhile, JB arrives in the nick of time to save his father from being assassinated by a goon.
More hitmen flood the area in their numbers and he strives to fend them off. Eventually, Antonio is shot in the chest and JB hurries to take him to the hospital after taking out all the attackers. Max brings the drive to the Contractor and tells him about Andres’ actions to save Isabel.
Greg declares that the mission is done and Andres is on his own. Speaking of, Isabel admits to Andres that he remembers his brother. She recounts how she had saved some of the last batch of children before she had left the group, Jun inclusive.
She had gotten them aboard a shipping vessel called the Marina Pacifica and entrusted them to the captain. Andres boards a taxi in an attempt to get away from the pursuers. However, they manage to catch up to them and open fire on them at a traffic light.
The driver abandons his car and flees and Andres takes over. He strives to evade the goons and ends up driving to a dead end. With no other choice, he takes Isabel to an abandoned story building, only to realize that she had been hit earlier during the chase.
Andres strives to fend off the hitmen as he carries Isabel to safety. Isabel gives him a message for Colonel Paterno should he survive – the Raven is alive. Grandma Esang worries for the safety of her grandson as she’s unable to reach him on the phone.
She laments over his drive to put others first even if it puts him in danger. Speaking of, Isabel gives into her wounds and falls and Andres is blindsided from both sides and gunned down.
With Antonio in critical condition at the hospital, Max confesses to the Contractor about the secret operation she and the others had undertaken.
Greg laments that things could have gone different had they not kept it from him.
Later, he calls JB only to learn of his father’s condition and the fact that he’s on the master list. Tomas expresses his disapproval over how they had left Andres behind like that but Greg stands by his house decision, determined to set an example that protocols can’t be broken.
Later, Max calls Andres’ phone and a nurse picks up and tells her about how he had been caught in a shootout. She notifies Tomas and Gabriela and they hurry to the hospital. Andres is operated on and when he finally wakes up, he asks for his phone to call his grandma to dissipate her worries.
Greg meets up with the general to deliver the hard drive and he’s assured that payment will be wired as soon as possible. Tomas calls Greg to notify him of Andres’ survival. Greg goes to see JB to update him and he comes clean about the secret operation.
In the meantime, JB brings his father home after he’s discharged from the hospital. Antonio reveals to him about the relentless El Cano whose group the Escaleras belonged to. Just when the storm has passed, the police show up to arrest the former general.
Antonio agrees to go with them willingly. He urges his son to do everything possible to return to the service and finish the mission he failed to complete. Meanwhile, armed masked goons break into Miguel’s house and attack him.
He fends them off but surrenders when he’s threatened with his son’s life. Andres runs into the Contractor on his way out of the hospital, and he questions him about how he had deceived him.
Andres owns up to his shortcomings and apologizes for dragging JB and Max into his mess. He decides to leave the group but before leaving, he delivers the message Isabel had given him.
