Cora Discloses Damming Information. Ivy Receives A Frantic Call From Emilia About Arnaldo’s Disappearance.
Nora confides in Camia, revealing that Emilia is involved in corrupt activities that could jeopardize their cause. Concerned about Emilia’s influence, Carmia suggests they move Emilia to a safe house for her protection, and Nora agrees with the plan.
They decide to take her to Ivy’s former residence, a place that can provide some level of security. To ensure they gather evidence against Emilia, Camia calls Ivy, inviting her to listen in on the conversation.
As they prepare to record Cora, who is hesitant and visibly nervous, Ivy listens intently from Camia’s phone. During the conversation, Cora discloses that the Ardientes made a substantial profit by commissioning Julio’s statue and that Emilia initiated a women’s union as a cover to embezzle funds.
Camia urges Cora to testify, emphasizing how valuable her information could be, but Cora abruptly refuses, claiming they never discussed anything about testifying, and she bolts out of the house.
Just then, Ivy receives a frantic call from Emilia, who urgently informs her that Arnaldo has disappeared from the hospital. Realizing the gravity of the situation, Ivy tells Camia she must leave immediately to prevent Arnaldo’s disappearance from derailing their plans.
Ivy arrives at the hospital to find a visibly distraught Emilia, who is panicking about Arnaldo’s absence. Ivy asks if she has informed Julio, and Emilia quickly calls him to relay the news that Arnaldo is missing.
Despite Emilia’s dramatic demeanor, Ivy orders her to calm down, knowing that they need to think clearly to find Arnaldo. Meanwhile, Arnaldo wanders the streets in his hospital attire, disoriented and confused.
Two men attempt to help him, but in a moment of panic, he lashes out and bites one of them on the neck. The police, alerted to his erratic behavior, arrive on the scene alongside Emilia and Ivy, successfully apprehending him.
Arnaldo is taken to a psychiatric ward where a doctor informs Julio that Arnaldo poses a danger to himself and others. The psychiatrist diagnoses him with bipolar disorder, marked by extreme paranoia that could lead to süicidal tendencies.
She advises Julio and the family that Arnaldo requires therapy and a calm environment to begin his recovery. Back at the Ardiente mansion, Emilia confides in Claire about Raul’s persistent phone calls, expressing her frustration.
Claire reminds her of the promise she made to Julio regarding her loyalty. Just then, Julio arrives and instructs Emilia to increase her visits to Arnaldo, citing his lack of trust in anyone else to care for him adequately.
This directive leaves Emilia feeling uneasy but determined to prove her commitment. Meanwhile, at the rest house, Ivy calls Camia, who expresses concern about Ivy being alone with Arnaldo. Camia’s mistrust is evident as she warns Ivy about the potential dangers.
Ivy reassures her, apologizing for not being able to listen to Cora’s testimony, but Camia informs her that Cora has backed out entirely. Julio arrives shortly after, reminding Ivy of her responsibility to bring Arnaldo back safely, and as he threatens her again, Ivy insists that she will fulfill her duty.
As tensions mount, Carmia informs Diego and Jepoy that Ivy has been forced to accompany Arnaldo, inciting their anger. When Arnaldo and Ivy finally arrive at the rest house, he expresses his gratitude and declares his løve for her, which complicates Ivy’s feelings.
Shortly after, Diego calls Ivy, warning her to be cautious of Arnaldo’s unpredictable behavior. Ivy reassures him that being there is beneficial because it allows her to devise plans against Emilia.
When Arnaldo inquires about her phone conversation, Ivy is interrupted by a nurse who comes to escort him to his room. Later, as Arnaldo lies in bed, he begins to hear the haunting voice of Nimpha, which sends him into a panic, revealing the inner turmoil he struggles with.
Meanwhile, Camia, Anna, and Jepoy visit Cora’s house, only to find out that she has left for Manila with her children, further complicating their efforts to gather evidence against the Ardientes. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 73
