The Dark Secrets of the Tiu Family Comes To Light, Leaving Caroline Devastated. Bingo Seeks The Truth From His Mother.
The episode begins with Bettina giving Charleston an earful for selling his shares at the detriment of their family. Charleston couldn’t care less. Irene observes them silently from the stairs before receiving a text message from Snoop.
Caroline can’t seem to understand why Toni had suddenly agreed to help. She brings up the woman who had bribed him and Bingo speculates that Cindy and Gina might have been behind it. Bingo recalls a conversation with his mother.
Irene meets up with Snoop at a restaurant to drink and forget about her problems and failures, and they have a pretty good time. While Dr. Capistrano pays another visit to Grandma Nene, Sherwin is caught off guard to find Bettina getting cozy with his son.
When he mentions Charleston’s sale of his shares, Bettina makes it seem like it doesn’t bother her. Sherwin excuses them after receiving a phone call from Mrs. A. Grandma Nene senses something off with Bingo and when she asks what’s been bothering him, he goes on about how he’s been thinking of his mother, but not in a good way.
Nene plays devil’s advocate and urges him to seek answers to his questions. Ironically, Bettina goes to bed with Sherwin and while he’s fast asleep, she tries to break into his phone.
Just then, a phone call comes in from Mrs. A, and Bettina takes a photo of the number, recalling his meeting with Annie. Carlo worries about the trouble he could get in and Charleston gives him an earful and lashes out at him, saying that he was safe until he brought out the hunting kñife.
Meanwhile, Caroline is relieved when the attorney states that they now have enough evidence to reopen her mother’s case for mûrdër.
Moreover, it would expedite the case if they’re able to find the woman who allegedly paid off the retired investigator. Bingo seems lost in his thoughts for obvious reasons. The police arrive with a warrant to take Carlo in for questioning regarding Divine’s mûrdër.
Gina blows a fuse, but meh. Once Cindy notifies Wilson, he calls Caroline, saying that they need to talk. Girl retorts that he knows where to find her. Bingo goes to see his mother to ask for her side of the story regarding Divine’s death.
The entire family of Tius are greatly upset over the stunt Caroline had pulled. After Carlo is let go, Wilson goes to confront Ling at Divine’s burial chamber. Annie recounts to her son how Cindy and Gina had paid her off to frame Divine.
She had left Bingo that fateful night because they had threatened to harm their family if she didn’t go into hiding to avoid Wilson finding out what they did. Gina gets in Caroline’s face over her accusations and she stands her ground.
Carlo insists that he wasn’t the one who k!lled her mother and as Cindy, Bettina and everyone else lash out at Ling, Charleston suddenly drops the bomb – he was the reason that kñife ended up k!lling her mother.
He explains that he and Carlo had gotten into a fight with a guy from school called Lawrence Reyes and he ended up stabbing him. Out of fear and confusion, he reached out to Divine since she was like a second mother to him. Ling scoffs at that and refuses to believe it.
Gina admits that she had bribed the officers for the mûrdër weapon because she thought her son was the k!ller. Cindy also admits that she had tried to clean up the crime scene because she also thought her son did it.
Exasperated, Irene scrutinizes them and asks the million dollar question – who k!lled Divine if it was neither of them. Recalling more from that night, Charleston recalls seeing a woman fleeing from the house before finding Divine’s body.
Annie admits to her son that her attempt to confess everything to Divine came to naught because she was already dead by then. She assures him that she wasn’t the one who k!lled her but has a good idea who it was.
Annie recounts how she had fallen into a coma after someone ran her over. Here’s the shocker; she confirms Bingo’s suspicion that it was a Tiu who k!lled Divine. Wilson Tiu. Wilson urges Caroline to let go now that everyone has said their piece.
Without warning, he passes out and everyone scrambles to his aid. Annie recounts how she had witnessed Wilson confronting Divine and threatening her for trying to leave him for Gilbert.
