Ling Remains Resolute In Her Mission To Track Down Edward’s K!ller. Annie Cooks Up A Scheme Against The Tius.
Olivia meets up with Charleston and Carlo after posting bail. She accuses the former for her detainment on account of his mother’s nosiness. When Olivia thrêatens to rat on him and Charleston to the police as being involved in Edward’s death, Carlo snaps and begins strangling her.
Charleston observes casually for a while before calling his brother off and serving Olivia a stern warning. Meanwhile, Wilson tells his wife about his plan to either hire Sherwin or consider Caroline to replace him since she’s completed her training with flying colors.
Cindy obviously expresses her disapproval, saying that Ling is too young and Charleston and the others will definitely shape up soon. Cathy asks Ling how she’s feeling after she had regained consciousness.
Irene is exasperated to learn that only she gets to pack up her things and leave. Ling soon meets up with Bingo to discuss their mission to track down “feather girl”. She informs Bingo about the luxurious car feather girl rides.
After getting a list of the exclusive owners of the car in the country, Ling sets off with Bingo to investigate them. They find the first owner and they invite her to the Chinese New Year party to cover up what they’re up to.
Annie stares at a photo of her son, determined to find him. When Sherwin shows up, she thanks him for all of his help and recounts the attempt on her life that fateful night years ago. Annie goes on about how she had beaten coma and had a second chance at life after marrying an Arab.
She declares that she’s finally ready to fight and turn the tables on the Tius. Ling hangs out with Bingo and they talk about their failed attempt to track down feather girl. Ling turns down Bingo’s offer to have coffee and asks him to head home, saying that she doesn’t want to steal his time with his girlfriend.
Bingo is amused to realize that Ling thinks Bougie is his girlfriend. Ling is all smiles when he clarifies that she’s just a friend. When Ling returns home, her father welcomes her back and tries to talk to her about working at the company but she snubs him.
Bingo goes shopping with his father and grandma to rent an outfit for the Mr. Binondo pageant. Upon meeting up with Ling, he has her try a product he bought from a local kid earlier. They come up with a business idea to help local producers and Ling offers to recommend him Jonathan in hopes of getting a grant.
Ling urges him to make an appearance at the New Year party so he’ll be able to see her friend. Bingo worries because the time for the party clashes with the pageant.
Annie, AKA feather girl, has her people set up the venue for the new year party, declaring that the game has begun. Wilson tries to talk things out with Caroline and she’s exasperated that he still refuses to believe that her mother hadn’t committed sùiçide.
In the meantime, Charleston tries to get through to Bettina but she lashes out at him for betraying her and messing up her relationship with Edward. As Ling comes upon the scene and listens in, Charleston points out that they need to find Edward’s k!ller to clear their family’s name.
Bettina retorts, saying that she wouldn’t be surprised if he was really the one who k!lled Edward. After Bettina storms off, Ling comes over to ask about what she heard. Charleston admits that Olivia was at the condo the night Edward died.
He urges her not to get involved in the case but tough luck cause Ling notifies Bingo through text about Liv. The episode concludes with Annie receiving a phone call from someone. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 35
