Nimfa’s True Colours Unfold, Igniting Diego’s Suspicions. Emilia Remains Obsessed With Exposing Ivy.
Nimfa goes out with Marlon, Diego, and some supporters of Diego’s campaign to celebrate the endorsement from Senator Magno. As the evening progresses, Marlon becomes overly friendly, which makes Nimfa uncomfortable.
She accuses him of trying to get fresh with her and demands that Diego defend her against Marlon’s advances. Diego attempts to calm Nimfa down, but she throws a tantrum, expressing her frustration that all he talks about is Lily.
In a moment of desperation, she throws herself at him, but Diego firmly rejects her, stating that he is in love with someone else. Hurt and angry, Nimfa collapses to the ground, and when Diego tries to help her up, she refuses his assistance and leaves on her own.
This confrontation leaves Diego puzzled about why Nimfa suddenly brings up Lily, leading him to suspect that she might be the one leaking information to the Ardientes. Determined to uncover the truth, Diego decides to call Nimfa’s father to verify whether the story about his illness is genuine.
He learns from Nimfa’s father that he is actually helping his brother on the farm and is in good health. Diego questions the wisdom of his father’s decision to work, but the father brushes off his concerns, asking why Diego is interested.
After a brief exchange, Diego hangs up, feeling uneasy about the situation. He then calls Ivy to inform her of his suspicions regarding Nimfa being their mole. Diego warns Ivy that Nimfa likely told Emilia that Lily is still alive, which could mislead Emilia in her search.
Ivy acknowledges the seriousness of the situation, understanding that they must act quickly to protect Lily’s identity. The following day, Raul returns home late, nursing a gunshot wound, which raises Emilia’s suspicions about his fidelity.
She confronts him, hitting him in frustration, and Raul winces in pain. Upon lifting his shirt, he explains that he was injured during a delivery when a client refused to pay him. Meanwhile, Ivy visits Emilia to invite her to a party for Senator Olivera, hoping to secure Arnaldo’s endorsement.
However, Emilia dismisses the invitation, insisting she has more important matters to attend to, such as searching for Lily Cruz. Ivy readily agrees to help Emilia, secretly amused by her naivety, as she knows that she is right in front of her.
Later, Diego assigns Nimfa the role of his assistant, which causes concern for Marlon, who does not trust her. Diego reassures Marlon that their goal is to maintain peace.
Meanwhile, Julio asks Arnaldo about Emilia’s whereabouts, learning that she is out searching for Lily. Julio advises Arnaldo to let Emilia handle her mission, as they do not want Lily to reappear and disrupt their plans.Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 50
