Cathy’s Strange Behaviour Leaves Irene In Distress. Ling Sneaks Into Edward’s Penthouse, Obsessed With Solving His Mûrdër.

Jersey cautions Stephen against how he has been helping Albert with his son’s murder investigation, saying that the Tius won’t be happy when they find out about it. Just then, she receives a phone call from Caroline who wants to talk to her later about something.

At the warehouse, Bingo teaches Ling how to do live selling and she plans to reach out to influencers and use their platforms to help boost the sales of their products in order to save the warehouse from closing down.

Later, Bingo sees Ling off outside, only to notice a familiar figure (Paulo, Balong’s other son besides Felix who had been caught by the police) lurking around. Bingo isn’t entirely sure that it’s the guy since he had only caught a glimpse of him before he sped off on a motorbike.

Ling meets up with her best friend and talks to her about Edward’s death. She shows her the suspicious black feather, speculating that the k!ller could be responsible for the disappearance of Pato. Ling later hangs out with Stephen at the cafe and he tells her that her brother is still the prime suspect in Edward’s death. 

Evidently worried, Jersey contacts Bingo to notify him of what Ling has been up to. Bingo heads over to the cafe and resolves to wait outside. In an interesting turn of events, Irene tries to steal some drinks from the fridge and Aunt Cathy catches her again and scolds her.

The old woman then gives her three bottles, telling her to drink it all. Irene is delighted and asks for just two hours to finish them. She later goes about her duties with glee. On her way out, Ling finds Bingo dozing off on a bench and she heads over and tries to wake him up.

Bingo subconsciously caresses her face and sleep talks, saying that he likes her a lot. He then begins snoring like nobody’s business. Ling wakes him up and asks if he’s been following her and Bingo denies it and comes up with a cover up story.

Wilson asks Charleston how his business has been doing. He then asks for his opinion about Grace’s suggestion regarding GLC and Charleston expresses his disapproval. Irene is taken by surprise when Aunt Cathy offers her more bottles of liquor for her to drink and have her fill.

Irene says she can’t drink anymore. Cathy then passes a snide comment, hinting that her thirst for alcohol is because she’s pregnant. This gets Irene all riled up. Ling exchanges clothes with Jersey and asks her to stay in the cafe and pretend to be her while she goes to investigate Edward’s penthouse.

As expected, Jersey calls Bingo to notify him again of Ling’s mission. Grace informs Wilson about the perfect candidate she’s found to be the new face of GLC, a businessman called Sherwin Yuchengco. Bingo poses as part of the cleaning crew to get into Edward’s penthouse.

Ling’s attempt to sneak into the penthouse is obstructed by a security guard but then she manages to get in by pretending to be Edward’s fiancee. Ironically, Cindy probes into Stephen’s relationship with Ling and urges him to do his best to win her over completely.

Having gotten into Edward’s place, Caroline begins to retrace his steps. She comes to the conclusion that Edward’s food was poisoned and someone was with him that night. Bingo is revealed to be hiding in the closet.

When security receives a tip from their boss about the intruders in the penthouse, they take action and call out for the trespassers to surrender. Desperate to escape, Ling quickly goes to hide in the closet and imagine her surprise when she finds Bingo there. Read Next Episode on Can’t Buy Me Love Episode 30
