Arnaldo Commits The Most Despicable Act of Jealousy. Ivy Is Left Devastated & Heartbroken.
Arnaldo stormed back home seething after witnessing Ivy with Diego. Stumbling in his anger, his men tried to assist him, but he pushed them away, ordering them to leave him alone. When one of them approached to help, Arnaldo lashed out and attacked him.
Meanwhile, Raul continued his affair with Natalie. After confirming that the Ardientes only tolerated his presence because of Emilia, he met with Natalie and revealed that it was Emilia who orchestrated her father’s death in exchange for a hefty sum of money.
Although enraged and determined to make Emilia pay, Natalie was urged by Raul to act cautiously and plan strategically, ensuring she wouldn’t end up a victim herself. The following morning, the Ardientes were met with shocking headlines as the latest survey results made the front page of the papers.
Furious, Julio reprimanded Arnaldo for letting things spiral out of control, accusing him of being distracted by Ivy. In response, Julio took matters into his own hands and silenced the journalist responsible for the story by having him k!lled.
While Camia and Diego visited the cemetery, they stumbled upon a lead about Arthur’s location and immediately informed Ivy. In her urgency to join them, Ivy left her phone at home. Meanwhile, Arnaldo, still consumed by jealousy and rage after seeing Diego with Ivy, barged into her house, demanding to know where she was.
Nanny Carlota answered the door and informed him that Ivy wasn’t home. However, upon noticing Carlota holding Ivy’s phone, Arnaldo accused her of lying. In his fury, he shoved Carlota aside. When she tried to stop him from forcing his way inside, he struck her again, leaving her injured and bleeding.
As the commotion escalated, two guards came to investigate but were shot by Arnaldo. He proceeded upstairs to search the house for Ivy. Despite her injuries, Carlota managed to seize Ivy’s phone and called Diego. Mystified by the call since Ivy was with him Diego realized it must be Carlota trying to reach out.
When Ivy answered, Carlota barely had time to explain before Arnaldo overpowered her, causing the phone to fall and cutting the connection. Determined to silence her protests, Arnaldo chased and strangled Nanny Carlota until she collapsed lifelessly in his grip.
Shocked by what he had done, he attempted to cover up his crime by staging it as a sùiçide. Using a bedsheet from her room, he hanged Carlota’s body from the upper floor railing and disposed of the guards’ bodies in a nearby river. The house was meticulously cleaned to erase all evidence of violence.
Later that evening, Ivy returned home with Camia and Diego to find a horrific scene Nanny Carlota’s lifeless body hanging from the railing above. Overcome with anguish, Ivy collapsed to her knees, screaming in disbelief and demanding answers about who could have committed such a cruel act.
The police arrived to investigate; however, they were unable or perhaps unwilling to find any indication of foul play. One officer, secretly in league with Arnaldo, ensured that any remaining evidence implicating him was eliminated.
Frustrated by their incompetence, Ivy dismissed the officers in anger, calling them useless for failing to uncover the truth. Meanwhile, Arnaldo remained rattled by his actions and ignored Julio’s attempts to speak with him. Confronting him later, Julio demanded an explanation after hearing about Carlota’s death.
Though Arnaldo initially denied involvement, he eventually confessed. Enraged by his recklessness, Julio scolded Arnaldo for drawing unnecessary attention, emphasizing that mûrdër should only be used as a last resort.
Despite admitting things had spiraled out of control, Arnaldo assured him that there was no trace left behind to connect him to the crime—even Ivy would never find out. Ivy spent the night mourning in Nanny Carlota’s room, clutching her portrait as Diego comforted her.
He covered her with a blanket while she slept and prepared breakfast for her the next morning. Deeply grateful for his care in such a difficult time, Ivy thanked him sincerely. Once alone, however, Ivy began piecing together what might have happened to her beloved nanny.
Despite Arnaldo’s efforts to eliminate all evidence, Ivy discovered a cufflink on the living room floor inscribed with initials: AAT Arnaldo Ardiente Torillo. Her suspicions were confirmed; she now knew who was truly responsible. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 41
