The Tius Strive To Build Up Bettina’s Defense, Oblivious To A Traitor In Their Midst. Bingo Avails Himself.
Bingo assures Caroline and everyone else that he’s going to testify for Bettina and Wilson expresses his utmost appreciation. Gina doesn’t seem that thrilled for some reason. In the meantime, Snoop has a talk with his date about how Irene keeps messing things up for him.
Back at the Tius, Ling treats Bingo to dinner while her parents have a meeting with their lawyers. As Bingo enjoys the dish, nanny Ikay asks him to notify her if he needs anything else. After she leaves, Ling apologizes to him for the trouble and Bingo notes that it’s okay.
A call comes in from Grandma Nene and they both get to talk to her. Ling thanks her for the food she had Bingo deliver to her. The Tiu couple discuss Bettina’s case with their lawyers and Gina states that the fingernail that had been found on the crime scene could be used as evidence against Bettina if it’s confirmed that it’s hers.
When Cindy brings up Bingo, Gina retorts that they need to run a background check on him so that the prosecution doesn’t find something to use against them and hurt Bettina’s defense in the process. Ling thanks Bingo for coming through for her again.
She can’t help but to keep worrying about her sister and Bingo tries to ease her up and convince her to eat something. Staring from a distance, Gina looks on with disgust. A moment later, she meets up with a contact of hers who tells her that Edward hadn’t died from a head injury after all.
The guy hands over Edward’s toxicology report. Wilson and Cindy interrogate Caroline about Bingo and she recounts the countless times he’s helped her out of one muddle after another. In an interesting turn of events, Gina orders her contact to have Edward’s new autopsy report released even if it’ll hurt Bettina’s case.
She charges him to ensure that Bettina will be arrested on a Friday so she’ll be detained the whole weekend. Irene actually returns to SWT restaurant and she desperately pleads with Aunt Cathy to give her a second chance.
She even kneels as Ling looks on but the old woman taunts and disregards her. Having learned of the results of the DNA test, Wilson decides to have his daughter sent abroad so she doesn’t end up in jail. Gina argues that it’ll only make things worse for her.
Bettina shows up and announces that she’s going to turn herself in. Bingo goes to the restaurant to check up on Ling and ask her out. Ling comes up with excuses as to why she can’t go with him and Bingo asks him to join him and his family for dinner later.
Ling reaches out to Aunt Cathy and urges her to give Irene a second chance for their father’s sake and so that she doesn’t give the family anymore problems. Cathy asks her to follow her. Later, Bingo brings his grandma to the restaurant to come and see Ling.
However, they find Irene there instead, having been reinstated by Cathy. As expected, Irene scoffs at them when they ask about Ling. Meanwhile, Mrs. Liao shows up at the Tius with the police to arrest Bettina.
She hurls insults and accusations at her and Caroline arrives and in an attempt to defend her sister, she reveals Edward’s involvement in the GLC hacking. Later, Cindy lashes out at Caroline for making things worse by giving the Liaos motive for what they’re accusing Bettina of doing.
Ling leaves home to go and clear her head and eventually ends up at Bingo’s house where she dines with him and his family. On the phone, Gina charges her contact to erase all records of the cyanide poisøñing. She then cramples the copy of the toxicology report and dumps it in the trashcan.
Ling returns home and apologizes to her father for the incident earlier. She shows him a photo of Jaime who had been seen in an argument with Edward and Charleston sees it. Wilson tells Caroline that they’ll be needing Bingo tomorrow.
The next morning, Ling goes to the warehouse where she had been transferred by Aunt Cathy. Bingo arrives at the Tiu mansion and Cindy thanks him for his help. He talks to Caroline on the phone and the line drops as Ling’s battery dies.
