Emilia Is Left Frustrated With Her Situation. Julio Exploits Madrigal For His Sick Pleasure. Diego Takes Action On Ivy’s Account.

Emilia tells Julio that she wants to be reinstated as governor now that Alvarez is in hiding, but Julio refuses, saying that Arnaldo will be the one to run for office because leadership is no place for women. Emilia’s face falls, but she tries to hide her disappointment.

She knows that Julio’s views on women are old-fashioned, but she’s determined to prove herself. She has been loyal to the Ardiente family for years, and she believes that she deserves a chance to lead. Emilia thinks about all the sacrifices she has made for the family and how she has always put their interests first.

She feels that she has earned the right to be considered for the position of governor, but Julio’s words make her realize that she may not have a say in the matter. Arnaldo is present, and Julio mentions that he doesn’t like Arnaldo getting too close to Ivy.

Arnaldo gets upset and warns Julio that he’ll have a problem with him if he doesn’t stop suspecting Ivy. Aunt Claire whispers to Emilia that she’ll soon lose her place as the queen of the Ardiente family once Ivy starts dating Arnaldo, but Emilia is determined to prove that Ivy is Madrigal’s accomplice and make her fall out of favor with Arnaldo.

Emilia’s eyes narrow as she thinks about Ivy and the thrëat she poses to their family’s power. Julio visits Madrigal and tells him that he’ll let him go if he k!lls Alvarez.

Madrigal refuses at first, but Julio says it’s either his life or Alvarez’s, and Madrigal has no choice. Julio’s men are waiting outside, and they will make sure Madrigal follows through with the plan. Madrigal is taken to a location where he can find Alvarez, and he is given a chance to take him out.

Madrigal finds Alvarez getting ready to leave the country, and Alvarez opens the door, thinking it’s the cleaning staff. The two engage in a fierce fight, with Alvarez trying to defend himself against Madrigal’s attacks.

Madrigal is determined to take him down, but he’s still recovering from his injuries and Alvarez is putting up a good fight. Despite his injuries, Madrigal’s determination and anger give him the upper hand, and he eventually gains the upper hand, causing Alvarez to fall to his death.

Julio is happy with the outcome but has no intention of letting Madrigal go. Instead, he plays a game of Russian roulette with Madrigal, enjoying his fear and taunting him with the possibility of death. Madrigal flinches every time Julio pulls the trigger, and Julio laughs at his reaction.

After toying with Madrigal, Julio orders his men to take him away, and Madrigal is left wondering what his fate will be. Ivy, Camia, and Diego see the news about Alvarez’s death and realize that the Ardientes are behind it.

Camia thinks the Ardientes might let Madrigal go since he’s fulfilled his purpose, but Diego knows better, saying that Madrigal will be killed once he’s no longer useful. Ivy wants to rescue Madrigal, but Diego stops her, saying he’ll go instead.

Diego disguises himself and heads to the location where Madrigal is being held. He fights off the guards and frees Madrigal, who is grateful but also wary. Diego gets shot in the process, but they’re finally able to escape.

Back at Ivy’s place, she tends to Diego’s wounds and is relieved to see Madrigal safe. However, her concern for Diego’s well-being is palpable, and Jepoy notices it. Later, Diego asks to stay over at Ivy’s house to keep an eye on her, and Ivy agrees.

As they’re settling in for the night, Diego confesses his feelings to Ivy, but her phone rings, interrupting the moment. It’s Arnaldo, and Ivy has to go see him.
