Ivy’s Escape; The Loyalty Test, The Ambush & The Event. Madrigal’s Escape Throws The Ardientes Into Turmoil.
As Emilia leaves, Ivy seizes the opportunity to sneak into the workers’ quarters, climbing out of the bathroom window to avoid detection. She rushes to Jepoy’s room, where she finds everything in disarray, with bloodstains on his bed.
The sight of Jepoy’s beaten body fills her with anger and concern. She quickly returns to the bathroom, climbing back in just as Emilia arrives, knocking on the door. Emilia gets the guard to retrieve the keys, taking her time to find the right one.
Meanwhile, Ivy hastily puts on her earphones and starts playing music on her phone, pretending she didn’t hear Emilia’s calls. When Emilia finally opens the door, Ivy feigns innocence, saying she was listening to music and didn’t hear her.
Emilia is eager to take Ivy to see Julio, and Ivy reluctantly follows her to the place where Jepoy is being held. Ivy tries to remain composed when she sees Jepoy’s condition, but she’s clearly shaken. She attempts to hide her emotions, but Emilia notices her concern.
Emilia taunts Ivy, asking her to take a gun and k!ll Madrigal, supposedly to test her loyalty. Ivy takes the gun, pointing it at Madrigal, who gives her a subtle nod. Instead of shooting him directly, Ivy deliberately grazes his arm, causing Madrigal to wince in pain.
She then points the gun at Emilia, who becomes frightened, her eyes wide with fear. Ivy laughs, putting the gun aside, and says she won’t soil her hands to prove her loyalty. Emilia orders her to k!ll Madrigal, her voice rising in anger, but Ivy refuses, saying Emilia can’t order her around.
Julio intervenes, revealing that he’s been suspicious of Ivy’s actions, citing her kindness to the farmers and her defense of Camia. Ivy tries to deflect his concerns, saying she’s just a loyal investor and that Julio is being paranoid.
She warns him that until they have concrete evidence against her, her word is as good as gold. Julio responds by saying that gold can melt, but Ivy retorts that it remains gold even after melting. With that, she walks out of the room, leaving Julio and Emilia still suspicious of her.
Ivy heads to Camia’s house, calling her on the way to warn her that the Ardientes have Jepoy. She’s being followed by Arnaldo, who discovers that the house she’s heading to belongs to Camia. However, Ivy notices she’s being tailed and instructs her driver to go past the house, evading Arnaldo.
Arnaldo reports back to Emilia, saying he didn’t find anything suspicious, but Emilia insists that he continue trailing Ivy. When Arnaldo arrives at Ivy’s house, he barges in, but Ivy returns and confronts him, asking him to leave. Meanwhile, Julio asks Arnaldo to focus on Camia instead, planning to use her as leverage.
Arnaldo sets a trap for Camia and Diego, but Raul intervenes, alerting them to the danger. Ivy visits Emilia, bringing flowers to make amends, and suggests hosting an event to show their strength. During the event, Ivy searches for Jepoy but can’t find him.
She hatches a plan to get Arnaldo to reveal Jepoy’s location, pretending to make amends with him. As the event unfolds, Madrigal escapes, and Emilia and Julio rush to respond, leaving Governor Alvarez in charge. Julio is furious with Madrigal’s escape and orders him to be found and brought back.
