Caroline Re-enlists Bingo’s Help To Vindicate Her Brother & Expose The Real Culprit. Charleston Seeks Carlo’s Help.
Caroline researches Jaime de Guzman and begins to wonder why Edward met with him and whether he’s really the hacker they’ve been looking for. Recalling her brother’s icy words of bitterness, Caroline decides not to inform him of what she’s discovered lest he take matters into his own hands.
A moment later, she arrives at the SWT (Shi Wei Tian) restaurant and asks Aunt Cathy for a day off so she could attend to an important agenda regarding her family. Cathy says if she lets her off on such short notice, the other employees will accuse her of playing favoritism.
She counsels her on the matter and urges her to change into her uniform and attend to the customers. Determined to revive his online business and make it grow, Bingo attends Jaime’s seminar on digital marketing.
Jaime blabbers about his achievements and what he has to offer the amateur online entrepreneurs. Bingo challenges him with a couple of questions. While attending to the customers, Caroline is exasperated when she sees Edward sitting there.
When she heads over to ask what he wants, Edward brings up her visit to his office before. Caroline says she wanted to talk to him about the land and taunting, Edward retorts that it’s already been given to Irene but he’ll see what he can do about it.
He asks if she had really followed him to the parking lot and Caroline denies it. Edward taunts her some more and Caroline returns the favor. After the seminar, Jaime approaches Bingo and offers to help him with any business ideas he has.
Ling googles Jaime and sees a video of his seminar with Bingo in it. Without wasting time, she goes to see Bingo and asks for his help. Ling tells him about the accusations and evidence against her brother, adding that she strongly believes that he was set up by Edward and his accomplice.
She urges Bingo to help him investigate and find solid evidence to clear her brother’s name and bring the culprits to justice. Flashback: Wilson organizes a family meeting and charges everyone to keep silent about what Charleston did.
At present, Bingo agrees to help Caroline. He recounts how Jaime had offered to help him with his OPIP project and Caroline notes that they can make good use of the opportunity. She thanks him for everything.
Gina can’t seem to understand why Wilson had decided to close the investigation into the hacking incident. She goes to question him and Wilson doesn’t give her much to go on. Later, Irene whines to her father about the hard times she’s been having working the register at the restaurant.
Wilson counsels her saying that she’s free to choose whether she wants to go back or not. However, whatever choice she makes will have consequences. Cathy gives Caroline a break and she calls Bingo to make plans with him since it’s her day off tomorrow.
In an interesting turn of events, Charleston confronts Edward and threatens to finish him off if he finds out that he’s the mastermind of the GLC bank hack. Stephen goes to the restaurant with his buddies and claiming that he’s an entrepreneur, he asks to see the kitchen area.
However, Cathy sees right through him and makes it clear that he can’t see Caroline while she’s still working. Charleston reaches out to Carlo, assuring him that he would never do anything to ruin his family. He tells him about his suspicions of Jaime de Guzman and Carlo asks what he wants him to do.
When Cindy finds Irene getting herself drunk, she admonishes her for wasting the opportunity to prove herself to her father. Gina decides to take her son to the restaurant to see the Tiu siblings. She gives Cathy a gift and the older woman indulges her. Caroline meets up with Bingo and they head over to Jaime’s office.
Bingo makes his presentation, only for Jaime to offer to buy his idea. The guy then brings the meeting to an abrupt end to attend to something. Bingo quickly regroups with Caroline at the parking lot and they tail Jaime on his motorbike once he drives by.
Irene painfully walks to the SWT restaurant.
As fate will have it, she collapses on the street and Snoop finds her and tries to pick her up, only for her to puke on him. Meanwhile, Bingo and Ling follow Jaime to an amusement arcade and Ling begins to wonder what he’s doing there.
