“Ferit, Sinan, and Yaman Struggle with Grief and Guilt over Adnan’s Passing as Azade Fights to Keep His Secrets Buried”
After Hande watches the news about Adnan’s death, she receives a call from Zümrüt, who confronts her about her involvement and Yaman’s parentage. Hande laughs coldly and admits she k!lled Adnan before hanging up, leaving Zümrüt horrified.
Ferit and Sinan go to the morgue to see Adnan’s body. Overcome with guilt, Sinan blames himself for what happened, but Ferit assures him that none of it is his fault and urges him not to torment himself. Despite Ferit’s comforting words, Sinan cannot stop crying as Ferit embraces him in grief.
Meanwhile, Yaman meets with Bakhtiyah, who asks whether he plans to seek Adnan’s final blessings. Yaman refuses, saying there is no need to ask blessings from a man who never acknowledged him. Bakhtiyah advises Yaman to reveal his true identity to Ferit and Sinan, believing the time is right, but Yaman simply walks away without responding.
At the morgue, Ferit tearfully speaks to Adnan’s lifeless body, asking if it was truly his time to leave them. Yaman silently stands outside, listening. Both Ferit and Sinan remain in shock as they ask for their father’s forgiveness and blessing. Yaman then enters, offering comfort to Ferit.
Sinan breaks down again, regretting the harsh words he once said to Adnan. Outside, Azade overhears his cries and remembers her earlier confrontation with Yaman after his police interrogation, where she confronted him about being Adnan’s son.
In that memory, Yaman tells Azade that he knows she has always been aware of the truth but lacked the courage to speak. Azade admits she intends to keep that secret buried forever, insisting that Ferit and Sinan must never know. Yaman questions her authority over his life, saying he deserves a family too.
Azade tries to buy his silence by offering money, but Yaman mocks her, asking if she also tried to pay off Adnan and k!lled him when he refused. Furious, Azade warns him that he will never receive the mansion, the money, or any inheritance and won’t get a penny before walking away.
Sinan continues to sob inside as Ferit consoles him, and Azade sheds her own tears in silence. Later, Hussein arrives to offer condolences. Azade angrily questions his presence, but Hussein reminds her that Adnan had been his friend for more than forty years and that he has every right to pay his respects.
Azade orders him to leave, yet Hussein warns her that the truth will eventually come out. He then goes to comfort Sinan, Ferit, and even Yaman. As the family gathers to bid Adnan farewell, Azade and Yaman exchange tense glances while Mirza, Elif, and Shahin arrive for the funeral.
During the rituals, Sinan collapses in tears over the coffin as everyone gathers to console him. Yaman starts to approach but stops himself. Ferit and Sinan help carry their father’s coffin, while Betül offers comfort to Yaman. He tells her he will not cry because he already paid the price for his tears years ago.
That evening, the Sancakzade family gathers at home for the final prayers. Yaman arrives to join them, and Azade silently watches him with mixed emotions. After the prayers, Ferit pulls Yaman aside, asking if he has more to tell about Adnan’s death.
He reveals that Adnan met with Yaman the night before he died and demands to know what the meeting was about. Yaman insists it was a private conversation. Tension rises between them until Ayşe and Betül step in to prevent a fight.
Yaman reminds Ferit that everyone is mourning and now is not the time for accusations. Ferit angrily responds that Yaman’s closeness to Adnan didn’t save him as Yaman storms off while Ayşe tries to calm Ferit down. Elsewhere, Shahin expresses his condolences to Ayşe, and she thanks him with a hug.
Hande tries to call Yaman but grows frustrated when he doesn’t answer, questioning why he attended the funeral of a man who treated him badly and worried about his connections to his brothers. While driving home, Mirza teases Shahin, asking if Ayşe’s hug moved him.
Shahin says nothing can change, as his loyalty lies with Elif, who he raised and protected after losing two daughters. Mirza asks what he would do if Ayşe were to die, and Shahin answers that nothing will happen to her but if fate demands it, so be it since Elif is his priority.
Back at the mansion, Azade sits in silence before calling Ferit and Sinan. She tells them to stay strong and continue living for the sake of the family. She places their hands together, declaring that they must endure this pain as one. She appoints Sinan, the eldest, to take charge of the household and carry their father’s responsibilities.
Unable to hold back his emotions, Sinan leaves the room as Ferit hugs Azade tightly while Yaman watches from the door. In the kitchen, Sinan is consumed by guilt as memories of his arguments with Adnan flood back. He smashes dishes in anger and screams in pain.
Ferit rushes to him, and Yaman steps in to help console him, while Azade watches from a distance before retreating to her room to cry. Sinan later take the childhood photo of himself in Adnan’s wallet and breaks down, saying it hurts deeply to realize how much his father truly loved him after his death.
Yaman tells him that Adnan was his father and that of course he would cherish a picture of him. Sinan admits he always thought Ferit was his favorite, not realizing Adnan cared for him just as much. He laments that he only discovered the truth after his father’s death.
Yaman gently replies that every father appreciates his children, while Ferit comforts Sinan as they embrace. Sinan vows that the three of them will preserve Adnan’s memory and set aside their hatred. They hug tightly before Yaman quietly walks away, glancing back at the mansion one last time.
