Ivy & Camia Escape Emilia’s Flames of Vengeance. Trouble Brews In The Ardiente Empire. Diego Finally Learns The Truth.
Ivy’s arms wrapped protectively around Camia as she pulled her to safety, the flames licking at their heels. They stumbled out of the burning house, gasping for air. Emilia’s voice was like ice as she called Raul, her words dripping with venom. “Come back to your mistress’s house, darling. I have a surprise waiting for you.”
Raul’s voice was laced with unease, but Emilia’s laughter sent shivers down his spine. “You’ll see, my love. It’s better if you see it for yourself.” As Emilia watched the house burn, her eyes gleamed with a manic intensity.
But when she turned to leave, the flames proved too fierce, and she was forced to retreat. Ivy and Camia made it to the road, unseen by Emilia. Camia collapsed, and Ivy’s desperate cries for help were answered by Diego’s arrival. He swept Camia into his arms, cradling her like a child, and Ivy’s eyes locked onto his with gratitude.
As they sped away from the inferno, Ivy directed Diego to her resort in San Juachin, a place where they could find safety. Diego’s concern for their safety was palpable, but Ivy’s determination kept him driving forward.
Meanwhile, Raul’s world came crashing down around him. He returned to the house, his eyes widening in horror as he took in the destruction. Emilia’s laughter echoed through the ruins, her eyes flashing with a mad gleam.
Madrigal’s timely intervention saved Emilia from Raul’s wrath, and she clung to him, grateful for his protection. But Julio’s displeasure was not so easily assuaged. He berated Raul and Emilia, his voice a cold, calculated slap.
“You’re both so consumed by your own problems. You’re going to be the downfall of this family.” At the resort, Camia received medical attention, her condition dire due to malnutrition and smoke inhalation.
The doctor’s diagnosis revealed a deeper trauma, one that had left Camia’s memories fragmented and her spirit broken. Ivy’s eyes welled up with tears as she begged the doctor to help her mother regain her memories.
As Julio continued to rail against Raul and Emilia, Arnaldo watched with growing unease. He defended his mother, but Julio’s words cut deep. “Help your mother by solving her problems, not by wiping away her tears.” Diego’s confrontation with Ivy was inevitable, and she finally revealed her true identity as Lily.
But Diego’s love declaration was met with rejection, and Ivy’s walls went back up. Camia’s awakening brought a mix of emotions, and her gratitude toward Diego was palpable. But as she gazed at him, memories of Raul flooded back, and she was consumed by terror.
The nurses sedated her, and Ivy’s eyes locked onto Diego’s, her expression a complex web of emotions. “His worthless father is responsible for everything,” she spat, the venom in her voice a testament to the depth of her pain. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 28
