Julio Returns With A Vengeance. Ivy Makes A Daring Escape, Determined To Track Down Her Mother.
Diego prepares himself to see Ivy again, determined to confess his feelings to her. However, his plans are interrupted by Arnaldo, who informs him that their grandfather wants to see him.
At dinner, Julio returns and takes his rightful place at the head of the table, chastising Emilia for letting Ivy play her for a fool. Julio demands that Ivy be brought to him the following day, as he needs to know whether she’s with them or against them.
Julio’s tone is cold and calculating, and Emilia seems nervous and intimidated. Meanwhile, Diego becomes fed up with Julio’s insults and storms out of the dinner, declaring that he’ll protect the people he cares about against his family.
Later that evening, Diego visits Ivy’s house, but she’s already asleep. He leaves a message with Carlota, warning Ivy to be careful now that Julio is back. Unbeknownst to Diego, Ivy is listening from behind the door and instructs Carlota to throw away the flowers he brought.
The next morning, Arnaldo picks up Ivy and takes her to see Julio, who demands that she hand over the funds she promised for his campaign. Ivy stalls, saying it’s too early, and leaves soon after. Julio instructs Arnaldo to follow her, suspecting that she’s conspiring with their enemies or Raul.
Ivy notices Emilia talking to Raul, asking him to stay at his parents’ place in San Ildefonso to avoid Julio. She heads to San Ildefonso, but both Diego and Arnaldo are on her trail. Jepoy, driving Arnaldo’s car, passes Diego and texts Ivy, warning her that they’re following her.
He takes a diversion, losing Ivy in the process, and Arnaldo becomes furious. Diego also loses Ivy and decides to wait for her at her house. As he waits, he notices a book that Ivy had left behind and remembers that he and Lily both loved it when they were young.
Inside the book, he finds a picture of Prianka that Ivy had left there. Meanwhile, Emilia is struggling to cope with Julio’s threats and her own frustrations, turning to smoking and drinking to let out her emotions.
She recalls the time she tried to have Julio k!lled when he was in the hospital, but his nurse had discovered her plan and thwarted it. Julio had been cold and calculating ever since, and Emilia knows she’s in grave danger.
Ivy, on the other hand, continues on her journey to San Ildefonso, determined to find Raul and further her own agenda. She gets directions to Raul’s house and is one step closer to achieving her goals.
