Ivy Causes Trouble Among The Ardientes. Raul Defies Emilia. Natalie & Arnaldo’s Jealousies Are Triggered.
The episode begins with Claire asking Raul who he had been talking to on the phone. Raul claims it was his aunt but it was probably the mistress Emilia has been telling her about. Claire seizes the opportunity to offer Raul some advice, cautioning him to treat Emilia with kindness and respect before she grows tired of his behavior and whatever løve she has left for him.
Raul, however, is dismissive of Claire’s concerns, telling her to mind her own business and not interfere in their relationship. He declares that he’s not scared of Emilia and that their marriage has been dead for a very long time.
Meanwhile, Natalie has been exposed to gossip at the salon about men cheating, which sparks her concerns about Arnaldo’s interactions with Ivy. Emilia gets pretty upset to see her husband looking at a newspaper featuring Ivy. She threatens to keep him locked up in the house until he confesses who his mistress is.
Raul says he doesn’t have any mistress and Emilia dares him to kneel before her and ki$$ her feet to prove it. Raul refuses to take the bait. Jepoy tracks down Tonyo, takes him by surprise and holds him at güñpoint. When the guy throws him shade, he punches him and threatens to torture him until he cries like a baby.
Natalie’s worries lead her to search for Arnaldo at his house, but Emilia informs her that he might be at Ivy’s residence. When Natalie confronts Emilia about the senator’s endorsement, Emilia reveals that Arnaldo is indeed the senator’s preferred candidate.
Arnaldo on the other hand, visits Ivy’s house with the title deed, hoping to finalize their agreement. However, Ivy cautions him against rushing into things, suggesting that they take their time. When Diego arrives at Ivy’s house with flowers, Nanny Carlota informs him that Ivy is busy with the mayor.
Diego decides to leave instead of interrupting them. However, his plans are soon derailed by Natalie’s arrival. She bursts into the house, screaming Arnaldo’s name, and Diego follows her, worried that she might hurt Ivy.
Upon entering the house, Natalie finds Arnaldo and Ivy standing by the pool, their proximity sparking her anger. Natalie lunges at Ivy, but Diego intervenes, pulling Ivy to safety. Natalie, losing her balance, plunges into the pool.
After Arnaldo helps Natalie out of the water, she demands that he choose between her and Ivy. She threatens to expose their relationship to her father, which would jeopardize Arnaldo’s senatorial bid, unless he severs ties with Ivy. Arnaldo attempts to reason with Natalie, but she refuses to listen and storms off.
Arnaldo then confronts Emilia, accusing her of orchestrating Natalie’s outburst by revealing his meeting with Ivy. Emilia, however, proposes a truce, suggesting that they shouldn’t fight each other since they are family. She offers to let Arnaldo take the senatorial seat in the future, and Arnaldo agrees to step back for her sake.
In another development, Ivy brings the farm land title deed to the farmers, who are overjoyed by her efforts. The EPZ project site has been relocated, and the farmers now have control over their land. Buchoy thanks Ivy with a toy and a kiss, showcasing their affectionate relationship.
When Ivy’s van breaks down, Diego offers to drive her home. Ivy agrees, but only after checking with Buchoy, who gives his consent. Instead of taking her home directly, Diego shows Ivy the places he and Lily used to visit. He apologizes for talking so much about Lily, admitting that being with Ivy reminds him of his late friend.
Ivy works hard to keep her emotions in check before telling Diego that, if she were Lily, she would advise him to move on with his life. Arnaldo’s jealousy is triggered when he sees Ivy and Diego together at the clove trees. He aims his shotgun at Diego but fires into the air instead, startling both Diego and Ivy.
He shows himself and says that he was shooting at an animal but it ran off. He tells them that he is showing his people the new site for the project, adding that he will include Diego’s clove in his expansion plans. He leaves after telling Ivy that she owes him something, and Diego says that he will not let him get his special place.
Ivy confides in her nanny about her conflicted desire to tell Diego everything. She’s however reluctant to do so for fear that Diego would hate her and choose his family over her. Ivy resolves to prepare for her dinner date with Emilia.
Emilia brings along Natalie and when Ivy asks what she has to do to secure the land for the farmers, Emilia tells her to stay away from Arnaldo. Ivy gloats, saying that Arnaldo is the one who has been chasing her. Emilia is thrown off her game when Ivy asks to buy her overpriced properties.
Diego shares his joy with his family and they ask if he’s going to court “her” yet. In the meantime, Jepoy torments Tonyo and allows him to escape after a while. Raul goes to see the senator to convince him to let him handle his gambling business.
He suddenly receives a phone call from his aunt telling him to come back because Carmia is starting to come to her senses. Claire catches Raul leaving and tries to stop him. Coming upon the scene, Emilia also gets in his way and he snubs her and walks out.
