Cindy Becomes Determined To Ensure Her Childrens’ Birthright. Bingo Assists Ling To Uncover The Mastermind of Her Kidñapping.
Charleston arrives home and Cindy blows a gasket over their status in Golden Lotus. In the meantime, Caroline is exasperated when she doesn’t find any known shampoo brand at the store and Bingo and Snoop help her select some alternatives.
Felix pays off his goons, ordering them to hunt down “the driver and the meddling kid”, a.k.a Snoop and Bingo. As Bingo has dinner with his family, Caroline has a mental breakdown in the washroom which brings back memories of her mother’s death.
Bingo and the others find her spacing out and looking all pale and they’re skeptical when she tells them that she’s fine. Having heard of his father’s change in the family constitution, Charleston laments that he’s only trying to spite him.
Cindy urges him to convince him that he’s the one deserving of succeeding him at GLC and not “those bastards”. Bettina scoffs at that, saying that her brother cares more about Caroline than her. Speaking of, Bingo helps Caroline to retrace her steps and figure out how the kidñapping had began.
He writes down the three unknown suspects on the crime board, alongside the names of Edward and Charleston as the prime suspects – Edward because of their enmity and Charleston because he was the only one besides the driver who knew that she was on the yacht.
Regarding the scandal at the engagement party, Bettina gets pretty upset when Charleston mentions that Edward is the one who needs to apologize because Caroline isn’t a liar. After making a futile attempt to get through to Wilson, Cindy urges Bettina to tell him about how Caroline is out to destroy Edward.
She will make damn sure that the wedding happens because at least one of her children must succeed Wilson if Charleston is passed up. The eye black marketeer confronts Bingo over the money he owes him for the eyes. Bingo puts him in his place, saying that he better still have them ready once the money is available.
At home, Bingo questions Caroline about her complex family and puts all of their names plus friends on the crime board. She holds back her father’s name though. Bingo tells Snoop about how he feels sorry for Caroline and he urges him to leave him out of it.
Bingo suggests that they should go to the wake of Bird (the mûrdëred kidñappér) in order to find the other culprits. Snoop is reluctant since it’s dangerous. However, he tags along with Bingo to said wake and they get into an unfriendly encounter with one of the kidñappérs.
The guy warns them to disappear before Felix hunts them down. While the neighbors gossip about the girl Bingo had brought home, Grandma Nene sprinkles some powder on Ling’s hair to relieve her itchiness from the shampoo.
She then gives her some treats. That night, Snoop urges Bingo to stop investigating the kidñapping since it puts them all in danger. Bingo however won’t hear any of it. Upon returning home, he finds Ling working on the crime board.
Bingo asks who she suspects the most and she names Olivia; she’ll go after her and once she finds evidence of her affair with Edward, she’ll make her confess to the kidñapping and throw them both in jail.
