Emilia swiftly addressed the issue of her family’s alleged involvement in gambling by finding a scapegoat to take the fall. She and the senator coerced the man into accepting the blame, thrëatening to harm his family if he didn’t comply.
However, their problem was short-lived, as the man died in prison under mysterious circumstances, reportedly due to suicide. Ivy was astonished by Emilia’s ability to resolve the issue so quickly and efficiently.
Jepoy, concerned for Ivy’s safety, advised her to lay low, given the Ardientes’ notorious reputation for ruthlessness. However, Ivy refused to back down, driven by her desire for revenge against those who had hurt her family.
Jepoy’s discovery of historical documents proved that the Ardiente ancestors had gifted the land to the farmers of Pablocion, rendering the family’s claim to the land invalid. Meanwhile, Raul returned to Pablocion at Emilia’s behest, and she prepared to host a grand party to announce the commencement of the EPZ project.
Ivy’s arrival at the party was met with attention, particularly from the mayor, who seemed drawn to her. Natalie’s subsequent arrival was marked by her possessive behavior towards Arnaldo, whom she claimed as her own. Raul attempted to persuade Diego to join the party, but he declined.
