Ivy Sows Discord Among The Ardientes, Exposing Their Dirty Linens & Turning Them Against Each Other.
Emilia’s night took an unexpected turn when she got heavily intoxicated, prompting Ivy to take her home. Upon arrival, Julio was waiting, and Ivy discreetly left after handing Emilia over to him. However, the moment Ivy was gone, Julio’s demeanor changed, and he attacked Emilia for her drunken state.
Emilia, who had sobered up upon seeing her father, stood her ground and shoved him aside. The words of encouragement from Ivy finally took effect, and Emilia asserted her independence, telling Julio that she was the governor and wouldn’t be dictated to.
Ivy, who had lingered behind, watched the confrontation with a mixture of satisfaction and curiosity. The tension escalated when Julio, furious at Emilia’s defiance, raised his stilts to strike her. Diego intervened just in time, catching the stilts mid-air and refusing to let go.
The standoff between Diego and Julio was intense until Diego finally relented, but not before Julio warned that the fight wasn’t over. Emilia, proud of her newfound assertiveness, told Diego not to defend her again, emphasizing that she could handle herself.
Meanwhile, Madrigal had been tasked with helping Arnaldo deal with Arthur. Despite his loyalty to Arnaldo, Madrigal secretly helped Arthur escape, providing him with a piece of paper and warning him to leave Ardiente forever.
As Arthur made his escape, he shot at Arnaldo, but Madrigal’s intervention saved him. Arnaldo was furious but told Madrigal to inform Julio that the issue had been resolved. Jepoy, who had been tasked with helping Arnaldo, was relieved that Arthur had escaped and rushed to inform Ivy.
The next day, Emilia made a bold move by trying to initiate intimacy with Raul, but he rebuffed her advances, locking himself in the bathroom. During breakfast, Julio criticized Raul’s management of their illicit gambling business, calling him useless.
Emilia stood up to her father, telling him not to interfere in her marital issues, which further escalated the tension. Ivy’s plan to expose the Ardientes’ wrongdoings took a significant step forward when she leaked a video showing Raul and others collecting money from gamblers.
The video implicated Julio and other high-ranking officials, causing a media storm. When Julio faced the press, he attempted to deny involvement, but Emilia’s advice to keep quiet would have been wiser.
As the press conference descended into chaos, Emilia salvaged the situation by ending the interview. Ivy visited Emilia and revealed that she had recorded Emilia’s admission about the gambling scandal being true.
Diego watched his grandfather’s press conference, still believing in his family’s innocence despite growing evidence to the contrary. The family’s situation further deteriorated when Raul’s temper flared, and he strangled Julio after being insulted.
Emilia intervened, hitting Raul with Julio’s stilts to snap him out of his rage. By the time Diego and Arnaldo arrived, Julio was unconscious, and Emilia was frantic, screaming for help. The scene was set for a dramatic turn of events, with the Ardiente family’s future hanging precariously in the balance. Read Next Episode on Wildflower Episode 12
