The farmers’ worries about the processing zone and potential land seizure persisted, prompting Diego to suggest they write letters to his grandfather, Julio, appealing for mercy. He promised to deliver the letters, hoping to sway Julio’s decision.
Meanwhile, Madrigal followed the eccentric man from town and discovered the papers of Ivy’s father, Arthur, in his house. It turned out Arthur used to work with Ivy’s father before and had a connection to the Ardientes.
Arnaldo planned to take Ivy to dinner to persuade her to stay invested in the project. He asked Emilia to take care of Natalie, convinced that Ivy’s feelings for him would make her more receptive to his proposal.
Meanwhile, Jepoy informed Ivy that Arthur had witnessed her destroying the statue but posed no threat since he was considered crazy and unlikely to be believed. Ivy, however, instructed Jepoy to get Arthur out of Pablocion before the Ardientes could reach him.

Diego was unable to make amends. Emilia celebrated the capture of the suspect with Ivy, also attempting to pressure Ivy into signing the project papers. Ivy delayed, citing the need for her lawyers to review the documents. The conversation turned tense, with Emilia accusing Ivy of being difficult.
Ivy retorted that Emilia was controlled by the men in her life and lacked the power to make her own decisions. Ivy suggested that if Julio had asked her to sign the papers, she might have considered it, but Emilia’s approach was unconvincing.
