Jane Gets Her Hands On Damning Evidence Against Andrea. Andrea Resorts To The Lowest To Keep Her Dirty Secrets.
Robert stands at the gravesite of his stillborn baby and Andrea comes over and apologizes to him, saying that she did what she did because she was scared that he would leave her if he knew the truth. She blabbers about how he had been her source of comfort when everyone turned their back on her.
She asks if he could ever forgive him. Robert gives her the cold shoulder but then changes his mind. Edward reflects on some memories with Ofelia and the incident between her and Andrea earlier. And of course he decides to believe his mother’s words over his nanny.
As he mopes around, Eileen comes over to assure him that he’s still her brother. Robert and Andrea join them and the former declares that nothing will change because they’re still a family. Ofelia has a talk with Jane about her situation.
She makes mention of Andrea’s capacity for evil, adding that the accusations against her could be true because she’s capable of anything. She asks Jane if she has any evidence against Andrea. Robert decides to push through with his plan to go on vacation abroad with his family.
Ofelia thanks Jane for letting her stay in her house for the meantime. They talk about their issues with Edward, with Jane confident that they can work together to make him see the truth. Robert counsels Edward on his issues with Jane and lectures him on why he had decided to forgive his mother.
After dropping off her brother at school, Jane takes it upon herself to keep a watchful eye on Andrea. She follows her to an isolated place where she meets up with Captain Castillo. Andrea gives the rotten officer a bag of money to start a new life elsewhere.
However, the guy demands protection for himself and his family in the form of new identities. As Jane continues to spy, Andrea argues that they don’t have a group anymore but to hell with that. Castillo thrëâtens her with the incriminating CCTV footage he had kept of her.
Andrea lashes out at him and Anton suddenly shows up and fires at him on her orders. Castillo makes a run for it and Anton pursues him and gúñs him down. After he’s unable to find his phone, he notifies Andrea who decides to call the number.
The phone lies near Jane’s hiding spot and Anton isn’t able to hear it ring since it’s on silent. As Jane tries to reach for it, a phone call from her aunt Berta gives her away. Jane snatches the phone and runs off and Anton gives chase. Jane is shot in the arm but manages to get into her car to escape.
Anton goes to report back to Andrea and she gives him an earful and charges him to retrieve the phone at all cost. If he has to k!ll Jane to get it, then good riddance. As Jane struggles to get into the phone, Castillo’s ghost pops into the car to whisper his password before literally disappearing in flames.
Worried over Jane’s disappearance, Ofelia reaches out to Edward and he gives her the cold shoulder like before. Just then, Jane calls to tell him about the evidence she’s got on his mother. Eileen spies. A moment later, Ofelia and Edward head to the Evergreen mansion to meet Jane and Eileen follows them and calls her mother to inform her.
Andrea notifies Anton and he arrives at the place while Jane shows Edward the incriminating videos. Edward apologizes to Jane for not believing her before noticing her wound. He asks what happened and she reveals how his real father had shot her in connivance with his mother.
Edward vows to make the guy pay and Anton sneaks out of building, douses it with petrol and sets it ablaze. Edward is first to notice the smoke and when he hurries to the door and sees Anton, he calls out to him for help but he just stares and leaves. Ofelia drags Edward away from the door a moment before an explosion throws them and Jane onto the floor.
