Ivy Preys on the Minds of Arnaldo & Diego; She Makes Peace With Amelia & Saves Her Life.
Ivy’s eyes met Diego’s, and she denied knowing him, her voice laced with a mix of caution and curiosity. However, she quickly apologized for what his grandfather had said, her words a gentle attempt to diffuse the tension. Diego’s expression softened slightly, and he told her not to bother with it before turning to head back to his room.
As he walked away, he couldn’t shake off the feeling that he had seen her before and the memories of Lily began to flood his mind. He had trouble sleeping, his thoughts consumed by the past and the impact Lily had on his life.
Meanwhile, Emilia couldn’t resist teasing Raul about Ivy’s lack of interest in him, her words dripping with amusement. Arnaldo, on the other hand, seemed intrigued by Ivy, and Emilia’s teasing was laced with a hint of observation.
After Arnaldo took Ivy home, he too had trouble sleeping, his mind preoccupied with thoughts of her. He dreamed about her, and when his girlfriend Natalie woke him up the following morning, he momentarily mistook her for Ivy.
Natalie, the daughter of a prominent politician in Pablocion, was set to marry Arnaldo, and their relationship was more of a calculated arrangement than a løve match. Julio, Arnaldo’s grandfather, had already set a timeline for their wedding, planning it to coincide with Arnaldo’s ascension to the governorship of Pablocion.
Ivy, aware of the tension between her and Emilia, decided to make amends. She joined Emilia during a meeting and apologized for her earlier behavior, offering to make a donation to Emilia’s charity work. Emilia, sensing an opportunity, gladly accepted Ivy’s offer, and Ivy’s gesture seemed to pave the way for a tentative truce between them.
As Arnaldo attended a charity event with Emilia, Ivy noticed the way Emilia sanitized her hands after greeting the benefactors. Deciding to take a different approach, Ivy rolled up her sleeves and began helping the people in attendance, her actions a stark contrast to Emilia’s more formal demeanor.
Arnaldo arrived and tried to get her attention, but Ivy was too busy making a difference. Emilia, however, had other plans. She called Natalie and invited her to the event, stirring up trouble and testing the dynamics between Arnaldo and Ivy. When Natalie arrived, she clung to Arnaldo, introducing herself as his girlfriend.
Ivy’s response was gracious, but her eyes betrayed a hint of amusement. As the events unfolded, Julio’s delight in Natalie’s meeting with Ivy was palpable. However, he also reminded Arnaldo that Natalie was his future, while Ivy was merely a plaything.
He instructed Arnaldo to manipulate Ivy into investing more in Pablocion, highlighting the calculating nature of their relationship. Ivy, impatient and driven by her quest for evidence against the Ardientes, decided to take matters into her own hands.
She called someone to carry out an errand, her actions a testament to her determination. The situation took a dramatic turn when a man appeared out of nowhere, intent on k!lling Emilia. Ivy’s quick thinking saved Emilia’s life, but she took the büllet instead.
Arnaldo carried her to safety, and Emilia’s concern was palpable, even if it was tinged with calculation. As Ivy recovered from her wound, Arnaldo’s behavior towards her became increasingly intimate. He sat beside her bed, his eyes locked on hers, and even stole a ki$$ while she was sedated.
Diego, however, had other plans. He arrived at Ivy’s location, only to be turned away by the guards. When he saw Arnaldo leaning over Ivy, he felt a pang of discomfort and left without confronting him. The incident sparked a chain reaction of events.
Julio beat up his bodyguards for failing to prevent the attack, his anger fueled by the potential implications for his power and influence. Madrigal, on the other hand, took it upon himself to deal with the man who shot Ivy, ensuring that he would never be a threat again.
As Ivy recovered, she began to piece together the events surrounding the attack. She realized that Arnaldo’s actions towards her were not entirely altruistic, and that his intentions might be more complex than she initially thought. Read Next Episode Wildflower Episode 7
