Anton calls Ofelia on the phone and asks her to give him one million in exchange for his silence and disappearance. When Ofelia objects to it, Anton says she’ll have to make it 5 million or else she’ll expose her dirty secrets. A flashback reveals how Ofelia had discarded her child after birth and sold it to Andrea.
Jane whines to her father about Edward’s stand on her issue with her sister. Jessie notes that there are other ways to settle it besides filling charges but Jane will hear none of it. A phone call soon comes in from Susan, alarming Jessie.
While Valerie is in the process of turning herself in, Jessie shows up with Jane at the hallway of the precinct. For the zillionth time, he pleads with Jane to reconsider her decision. In the meantime, Marco provokes a fellow inmate into a fight and when an officer tries to intervene, he snatches his gúñ and holds him hostage to get out.
Back in the hallway, Lt. Arnaiz reveals that there’ll be an investigation into the issue and Valerie will be detained if the complaint against her isn’t redrawn. Without warning, Marco rears his ugly head with an officer as a hostage and when he sees Jane, he curses at her and takes aim.
Valerie takes the büllet and goes down and the officer snatches back his gúñ and shoots Marco too. Elias informs Brock and the others about two guests bound to arrive soon and they’re shocked for some reason. On the phone, Captain Castillo assures Andrea that he’s taken care of the thorn in their side.
Once off the phone, Robert and Eileen hurry over to inform Andrea about the incident at the police station which led to Marco’s death and Valerie getting shot as well. Fortunately, Valerie had merely been grazed by the büllet and the incident paves the way for Jane to finally let go and reconcile with her.
QLater, Edward talks to Jane about the close call, relieved that the threat against her has been neutralized. Jane reminds him that the female accomplice hasn’t been caught yet. She wonders why Marco’s spirit hasn’t arrived yet and Edward says he’s probably in hell by now.
The two guests, a mother and daughter (Marco’s wife and daughter), arrive at Evergreen mansion after getting into an accident while on the way to go and claim Marco’s body. The woman laments over how they had been deceived again cause apparently, Marco is still alive. Elias tries to counsel her on forgiveness.
At the precinct, Jane has an exchange of words with Arnaiz as she suspects that Marco’s death had been faked. The lieutenant urges her to back off the investigation for her own safety. Anyway, Ofelia meets up with Anton and when he asks for the 5 million, she pulls a kñïfe on him.
Anton scoffs at her and she redraws the wëâpon and begins to break down. She laments over how she had wanted to abort her baby once she learned that she was pregnant. Ofelia regrets wanting him dead and selling him. She pleads with Anton to leave Edward alone. Anton walks away without a word.
Upon getting home, Andrea questions Ofelia of her whereabouts and she comes clean to her. Andrea then asks where Anton lives. A moment later, an incompetent creep pulls a gün on Anton and as he’s busy posing, he fights him off and flees. Captain Castillo lashes out at Marco for straying away from their plan.
Marco laments that Jane is a problem and he had only tried to finish what they started. Later, Andrea meets up with her accomplices to shut down her shady business. She urges Marco to get out of the country as soon as possible. A flashback reveals that Andrea’s real name is Cristina.
After escaping from Canada where she had been a notorious scammer, she had faked her death and assumed a new identity with the help of Marco’s father. Presently, Marco thanks Andrea for her help, saying that he’ll leave the country as soon as he sees his family. Andrea then tells him that there’s something he needs to know.
