Ivy Returns To Poblacion With The Sole Mission of Bringing The Ardientes To Justice.
With Prianka’s burial complete, Ivy felt a sense of closure and was ready to embark on her journey of revenge against the Ardientes. She had spent countless hours pouring over the family memoirs, reliving the memories and fueling her desire for justice.
The memoirs held secrets and stories that would help her navigate the complex web of relationships and power dynamics within the Ardiente family. As she prepared to return to Poblacion, Ivy’s determination only grew stronger.
She had been stalking the Ardientes from afar, gathering intelligence on their business dealings, personal lives, and alliances.
She knew that knowledge was power, and she was determined to use it to her advantage. Back in Poblacion, Diego and Arnaldo had both grown up. Arnaldo was the mayor, while Emilia was the governor, having successfully climbed the ranks of power. Julio continued to call the shots, and his influence was still felt throughout the town.
However, Raul was struggling to come up with funds for their upcoming campaign, and Julio wasn’t pleased. He had Raul beaten up as a reminder of his failure. Ivy finally arrived in Poblacion, and Emilia saw her on the way home as she stopped to gaze at the town sign.
Emilia asked who the woman was but no one knew her. Ivy continued on her way but got lost and stopped to ask for directions. The man she asked warned her about a road closure and suggested an alternative route. As she walked, she noticed a commotion and decided to investigate.
It was a local fight, and she stood for a while to watch, captivated by the intensity of the event. Her eyes met Diego’s, and she learned that he was the winner of the fight. Ivy broke into a smile, but soon remembered what had brought her back to Poblacion – revenge.
After the fight, Diego was given flowers, which he was supposed to offer to the most beautiful lady present. However, he ignored his nanny, who had been eagerly waiting, and instead ran after Ivy, giving her the flowers. Ivy was hesitant at first, but eventually accepted them, got into her car, and drove off.
Diego’s nanny was jealous and pestered him to tell her who the mysterious lady was, but Diego said he didn’t get her name. Later that evening, Diego showered at his nanny’s house and then went home, where he found his grandfather Julio waiting.
Julio was disgusted that Diego had to participate in such a lowly activity, but Diego defended himself, saying that he wanted the people of Poblacion to know that at least one Ardiente stood with them. Arnaldo spoke to Emilia about Raul’s failure to secure funds, and looked down on his father for not behaving like an Ardiente should.
Meanwhile, Ivy settled into her new home and visited her father’s grave that evening, apologizing for not visiting for so long and promising to avenge the Ardientes for what they had done. The following morning, Ivy’s nanny arrived from Manila, having closed up the house and followed Ivy to Poblacion because she was worried about her.
Ivy went to see their old house, but the painful memories came flooding back, and she decided to leave. She stopped by the forest to walk around and ran into Diego, who was working on something with his back turned.
He said that he knew Lily would be back one day, and that’s why he had been clearing the grass at the grove where they used to play. Ivy decided to hide before Diego saw her, and he wasn’t able to when he looked around.
However, he did see Ivy’s car when he was leaving. Ivy gathered more information about Emilia and her son Arnaldo, realizing that they were close and that she could use Arnaldo to get to Emilia.
