Hande’s Deception Unravels as Arşe and Ferit Edge Closer to Heartbreak
Hande tells Ferit she wanted to say this in person but claims she cannot meet him. Zümrüt then leaves. Ferit follows Arşe to apologize. She tells him it is fine since they are breaking up and therefore have no right to question each other anymore. Ferit asks if she will just walk away, but her silence gives him the answer. He suggests having another picnic to celebrate her freedom and gazes at her before leaving.
Back home, Arşe cannot find the signed divorce papers and begins to feel uneasy. At Sancakzade Holdings, Sinan visits Azade in her office. She mentions the hotel’s finance file, but Azade irritably tells him to leave it alone, warning him once again to stay out of other people’s business. Sinan asks what he has done wrong.
Azade reminds him that she warned him to prevent his brother from visiting Arşe, yet he allowed it to happen. Sinan responds that Ferit would have gone there regardless. Azade accuses him of comforting Ferit by assuring him that Arşe would return to him and that he should ignore her words. Sinan admits that he did so because Ferit and Arşe truly love each other and nothing else matters.
Azade snaps, telling him to keep quiet because Ferit will eventually get rid of Arşe. She sees no reason to give him hope, claiming that Ferit will correct his mistake and marry Hande. Sinan asks if she is humiliating him just because Ferit is not listening to her. He challenges her to tell Ferit to marry Hande herself, pointing out that she only plays the strict mother with him, and then walks out.
Ferit goes to the police station to question a man named Hasan, the accused murder£r, about why he took the blame when he did not k!ll Baha. Hasan insists he did it and asks to see his child before his sentencing. Ferit questions whether he wants to leave his one-and-a-half-year-old son without a father. Ferit lies to him that Arşe k!lled Baha and warns him not to do this to his family.
Ferit urges Hasan to tell the truth, promising to defend him if he truly acted in self-defense. Hasan reveals that Baha tried to rob him and $tabbed him, showing Ferit the wound. He says he went home, grabbed a w£apon, and saw Baha holding a syringe, apparently about to inject Arşe. Fearing he might harm her, Hasan $hot him. Arşe fell, and thinking he had accidentally hurt her, Hasan panicked and $hot Baha again.
Believing both were dead, he fled, framing Arşe by placing the guñ in her hand and firing twice. Later, upon discovering that Arşe was alive, he confessed to protect his family, insisting that Arşe was innocent and that he only acted to defend himself. Ferit asks where the kɲife is, since it was never found, and urges Hasan not to continue with this lie. Hasan is left in shock.
Meanwhile, Azade picks up Müge, who is delighted to see her. Azade explains that she went to the market to buy a gift for her aunt’s birthday. Arşe is going home, being kind to the neighborhood children, when Hande arrives. She asks Hande if she likes children too, then questions why she came. Hande says she wants to talk because she likes her, and Arşe lets her in.
While cooking, Hande asks if Arşe helps everyone. Arşe replies that she helps when she can, and that donating blood to someone in need is not simply help but it is a responsibility. Hande calls her sweet and asks if she has expectations from others. Arşe answers that life has taught her not to expect anything, explaining that she came to the hospital that day because she needed to, and that Hande neither owes her anything nor expects does she expect anything in return.
Hande proposes they become friends and meet occasionally. She then asks about Arşe’s divorce and whether she will soon be free. Arşe replies that it is her private matter and refuses to discuss it. Hande questions if she would be offended to know that she donated blood in vain, since Ferit will divorce her and she will be shut out of the mansion forever. This shocks Arşe.
Arşe asks if Hande remembers everything. Hande laughs sarcastically, saying of course she does, as it is not easy to forget the pain Arşe caused her by taking Ferit away. She admits she wishes she had forgotten. Arşe asks if she was pretending all along and whether she thinks Ferit will not learn the truth. Hande tells her to inform Ferit that she is faking amnesia, daring her to expose her.
Arşe tries to push her out, saying she is not interested in her lies or truths, and advises her to stop playing games if she truly wants to win Ferit’s heart. Hande scoffs, saying it is ironic that the woman who agreed to play a game with Ferit is now giving her advice, and claims that Ferit’s love for Arşe is the only reason she is still here.
Hande accuses Arşe of saving her life only to play the heroine and trick Ferit, insisting that Arşe laughed when she saved her. Arşe denies ever mocking someone’s pain and orders her to leave before she calls the police, telling her she needs medical treatment. Hande threatens that even if she is jailed, she will escape and $trangle her in her sleep because she has nothing to lose or live for.
Zümrüt arrives, separating them, and scolds Hande for threatening someone in her own home. Hande says she wants justice and lashes out at her mother for protecting others instead of her, demanding her support for once. She bitterly says she will leave and let Zümrüt and Arşe play mother and daughter, claiming she has no parents, which shocks Zümrüt.
With tears in her eyes, Zümrüt apologizes to Arşe, explaining that she is not protecting Hande but she is struggling to cope with the news that she cannot have children. She admits she does not know whom to blame, that her obsession with Ferit made Arşe her enemy, and that she feels ashamed to face her. She then leaves. Zümrüt drags Hande home, while Arşe watches from afar in tears.
Ferit is also lost in deep thought, recalling his moments with Arşe and smiling as he vows never to give up on her. Later, Hande and Zümrüt sit outside reminiscing. Zümrüt tells her that she reminds her of Azade because both love to receive things and to rule over others. She recalls warning Azade not to marry Adnan because he loved someone else, but Azade ignored her.
Hande argues that at least they got married, but Zümrüt asks if she truly believes they are happy. She warns Hande that she cannot build a family on someone else’s sorrow, as such a family will eventually fall apart. Hande insists that Ferit is irreplaceable to her. Zümrüt points out that Ferit does not want to be with her and that even if she gets him, nothing will be the way she imagines.
Hande says Ferit still values her, since he has not exposed her memory deception. Zümrüt asks what will happen if Arşe tells him the truth, but Hande confidently says she will not, because she does not speak badly of others. She hugs her mother, begging her to protect her instead of Arşe. Meanwhile, Sadet brings Adnan his medication while he is changing clothes.
Adnan tells her they should stop being so formal with each other and shake hands warmly. Azade enters, greets him, but is ignored. She complains that he is punishing her for taking his job. Adnan says they have never had peace in the mansion and now he cannot even sleep. Azade suggests they sleep back-to-back to keep up appearances as a married couple.
Adnan accuses her of not treating him as a husband and questions whether she intends to destroy him. She says she only wants to exist and work again, but he warns her that her decisions will bankrupt the company. Azade says she will cancel the loan so he can reconsider other partnership offers, then leaves, which secretly pleases Adnan.
At home, Arşe reads a book while Ferit drives, both lost in thought. The power flickers on and off at Arşe’s house. There is a knock at the door a delivery man claims to have a package for her, but she refuses it since she did not order anything. When she returns inside, she drops her candle in fright and screams.
Ferit bursts in, injuring himself, and she is startled to see it is him. She treats his wounds and asks why he came so late. Ferit says he was hungry and wanted to eat with her.Arşe tells him to stop trying to confuse her, as they are getting divorced. Ferit asks if she truly wants a divorce, and she reminds him that the papers have already been signed.
