“Alice’s Lies Begin to Crack, Emma Faces a Life-Altering Choice, and Camila Moves Closer to Unmasking the K!ller”
At the Dela Torre residence, Alice could not fully conceal the emotions stirring within her as she watched Guada sorting through Luciano’s belongings, determined to put his memory to rest and move forward. Composing herself, she pretended to be worried about Guada’s health, using that as an excuse to stop her from continuing.
Meanwhile, Mayor Luis attended a business meeting and spoke with Mr. Dela Pas, who expressed his frustration over how the brutal acts of the notorious k!ller groom had damaged both the people and the economy of Las Espadas. During their conversation, Luis spotted Don Fredo Geronimo passing by. Don Fredo was the family friend Alice often mentioned whenever she was asked about her frequent absences.
Luis approached him, introduced himself as Luis Dela Torre, the son of Alice, and mentioned that his mother had been meeting him recently. Don Fredo at first could not recall, but after a moment, he remembered the name Alice Montero. He told Luis that Alice had suffered greatly at the hands of her father, Rafael Montero. He revealed that Rafael’s cruelty had destroyed their friendship and that he had not seen Alice in a long time, which contradicted her claims of seeing him regularly in recent days.
Elsewhere, Vito was stopped by Iking, who appeared disturbed by a message from the psychic. Iking asked if Vito believed in curses, but Vito said he did not. At the same time, Matias, disguised, placed a note on Vito’s car revealing the location of the k!ller groom’s hideout. Vito discovered and read the note. As Matias was leaving after completing his task, Agnes suddenly appeared and attač̣ked him with a wooden stick, striking him several times.
Matias tried to defend himself, but Agnes overpowered him. Meanwhile, Elias was searching for Emma. Luis later approached his mother and reluctantly shared what Don Fredo had told him. When he asked if her father had truly been cruel, Alice denied it and invented a false story. She claimed that Don Fredo must have been confused due to his old age and insisted that she had always had a good relationship with her father.
Though Luis’s expression showed doubt, he chose to stay silent and accept her explanation for the time being. Agnes eventually knocked Matias unconscious by hitting his head. Meanwhile, Emma went to retrieve the safe box Fabio had entrusted to her before traveling to Las Espadas. He had told her that if anything ever happened to him, she should open it.
Inside, she found a large bank account in her name, diamonds, photographs of a house in Las Vegas under her name, and a heartfelt letter from Fabio. In the letter, Fabio expressed his deep love for her and shared the joy he felt when she first called him Papa, giving his life meaning. He encouraged her not to live in the shadow of his and Camila’s past but instead to build a life of her own choosing.
While reflecting on what he had been told about the curse surrounding Camila, Iking experienced another vision that led him to a room where he found a particular photograph. Meanwhile, Emma instructed her guards to take Elias to the airport, explaining that she did not want to return to Las Espadas because it would only remind her of her pain. She said there was nothing there for her anymore.
Elias reminded her that he was still there for her, expressing his love once again and his willingness to be with her forever. Emma said she wanted to leave Camila’s life behind and live freely. Meanwhile, Alice received a warning from Agnes that the police had located her. Wearing her k!ller attire, Alice was spotted by the authorities, but she fled as Camila tried to stop her by $hooting at her car’s tires.
Iking went to Manay Ichu to ask about the woman in the photograph. She was surprised and revealed that the woman was Belinda Dela Torre, Camila’s great grandmother. Iking then pieced together that Belinda was the source of the longstanding feud between the Dela Torres and the Dela Cuestas, leading to the curse that arose whenever a Dela Torre fell in love with a Dela Cuesta.
Camila entered Alice’s safe house with the police and, in another room, found Luciano’s corpse. She was shocked by the sight. Meanwhile, Emma continued to resist Elias’s advances, saying she was still traumatized, but Elias persisted, promising his love and loyalty. He embraced her and ki$$ed her, vowing to stay by her side.
Vito also arrived at the safe room and noticed the body appeared to be waxed. Elsewhere, Alice, furious, stepped out of her car and fired her weapon into the air, blaming Camila for her misfortune. Camila concluded that the k!ller valued Luciano’s body greatly and suggested it could be used as bait since it was so important to them. Luis informed Guada that Luciano’s body had been found and was being kept by the k!ller.
When the Dela Torre family asked Alejandro for the corpse, he told them it was under investigation because it might hold evidence about the serial
k!ller. Tati was insulted when her brother was referred to as an object, and Luis insisted that no one should speak of the body disrespectfully.
Camila questioned who in Las Espadas could value Luciano’s remains enough to remove them from the grave aside from his family.
Tati reacted angrily, accusing Camila of targeting them again. Alejandro then received a message from the police that photographs of the corpse had been leaked online. Everyone quickly checked their phones. Camila noticed Alice’s reaction, which betrayed her guilt, although Alice quickly changed her expression when she realized she was being observed.
A flashback revealed that Camila had planned the setup with Vito and Alejandro to trap the k!ller. Still, Alice’s expressions gave her away. Alone in her room, Alice cursed Camila while reading the harsh online comments. Later, Camila discovered that Emma was preparing to leave the country. She pleaded with her to give her another chance, but Emma said she no longer belonged there, pointing out that Camila already had Luna and Vito.
Camila admitted that she needed Emma and was not trying to use her. During their talk, Luna called, and Emma encouraged Camila to answer, saying her daughter needed her. Emma then told her she was going to see Manay Ichu at Dako Pa Roon and asked her to let her go. Elias visited Matias’s safe house but did not find him.
Instead, he discovered a letter in which Matias explained that he had changed his mind and wanted to help Camila find the serial k!ller. He wrote that he would be at peace knowing Elias stood for the truth and defended those he cared about. Meanwhile, Matias was shown imprisoned in an enclosed space.
