“Hande’s Amnesia, Zümrüt’s Ultimatum, and Ferit’s Battle Between Love and Duty”
Yaman was at home pacing anxiously, lost in thought. He recalled the rainy night Hande spoke about the night they became int!mate. He reached for his phone to call someone but stopped when Betül walked in and asked what he was doing. She updated him that Hande was still in the intensive care unit and her life was still hanging in the balance.
Yaman replied that Hande could handle it, but Betül told him he should visit her. She said this might be his last chance, regardless of his feelings. Yaman insisted there was no need because there was no deep bond between them and left for his room, leaving Betül in tears. At the hospital, Hussein and Zümrüt remained in the waiting area.
Zümrüt reflected on the moment when Hussein admitted to k!lling Baha in order to protect Hande and their heated arguments over it. She wept and blamed herself, while Hussein moved closer to console her. Zümrüt rose and declared she was going to the police to report him. Hussein tried to stop her, saying this was not the right moment, but Zümrüt confronted him about taking a man’s life. She said he had to face justice because he owed that to their daughter.
Hussein denied k!lling Baha and claimed he only lied about the incident. He said his men $hot Baha and he was simply a father trying to protect his child. He pleaded with her, insisting on his innocence. Zümrüt told him she was neither a judge nor a prosecutor, and it was up to the court to determine the truth. Hussein told her to report it if that was what she wanted, but warned that the entire truth would surface, including the fact that their daughter had k!dnapped Baha.
He said both he and Hande could end up in prison. Zümrüt replied that she would visit Hande in prison if needed that anything was better than losing her daughter in a coffin. The important thing was that she was alive. The following morning, Hussein and Zümrüt waited in Hande’s hospital room when Ferit came to visit. Zümrüt gave him an update on Hande’s condition, and Hussein hesitantly agreed.
As Ferit spoke, Hande regained consciousness. Hearing his voice brought her back. Her parents gently told her that she was in the hospital due to a minor injury. She looked at Ferit and called him “darling,” alarming her parents as Ferit approached. Hande asked Ferit to take her away from the hospital, and he said he would after she recovered. She then expressed her excitement over their upcoming wedding, saying there was so much to plan.
Her parents watched silently, while Ferit appeared shocked. Outside, Ferit sat in his car reflecting on the doctor’s explanation. The doctor had said Hande’s current state was typical of patients with head trauma and memory loss. Recovery could take time, and it was essential to keep her from stress. Just then, Arşe arrived, and Ferit stepped out to speak with her.
Arşe said she came to check on Hande and offered to stay out of his way. She asked if the doctors had said anything important. Ferit replied that there were no fractures, but Hande was suffering from memory loss and believed it was still three days before their wedding. She thought they were still getting married. Arşe was shocked that Hande remembered that particular time despite all the turmoil.
Azade then appeared and questioned Ferit for being seen with Arşe, just as Zümrüt joined them. Ferit told Azade to stop making a scene, Zümrüt greeted Azade and said people would stop judging Arşe once they learned she had saved Hande’s life. She thanked her sincerely as Azade turned to look at Arşe. Azade replied that her son nearly died because of Arşe.
Arşe responded that she did not come there for Ferit but to check on Hande. She was grateful Hande was alive, and then she walked away. Ferit followed her, leaving Azade and Zümrüt behind. Zümrüt explained to Azade that Hande did not remember anything, and Azade comforted her by saying the most important thing was that Hande survived. They embraced and left together.
In Hande’s hospital room, she asked Hussein for a mirror. Upon seeing herself, she complained about the damage to her face and asked why her hair had been cut. Hussein told her it was for medical purposes. She grew upset and asked what kind of bride she would be with short hair. At that moment, Zümrüt and Azade entered. Hande complained to Azade, who reassured her that health was more important and she was beautiful no matter what.
Hande insisted they speak to the doctor about allowing her to leave the hospital so she could prepare for her wedding. Azade agreed, and Hande happily said she would become her daughter-in-law and they could try wedding dresses. Azade encouraged her to recover first and promised she would be a stunning bride, though she looked uneasy.
Later, Azade found Ferit sitting outside. She told him that although he might feel unhappy about the situation now, his sacrifice for Hande would be rewarded in the future with children, a happy home, and a bright future. Ferit laughed bitterly and asked if she really believed that. Azade said destiny had brought them a second chance to erase all their past problems and begin again.
Ferit responded that Hande might be starting over, but that had nothing to do with him.
Azade insisted he would also start over. Ferit told her she would be surprised when Hande’s memory returned because the three days before the wedding were not about Hande but about Arşe. Azade grew upset and said Arşe always confused him. She reminded him that the doctor had warned that Hande could not handle another shock, and she believed he would not want Hande attempting su!cide again. Ferit left without replying.
At the mansion, the maids prepared pastries for Hande and wondered whether Ferit would go through with the wedding. Vedia told Zeytin that the social services would soon visit and ask questions. Leman joined them and asked about the visit and that the kitchen needed her more but Vedia said she would attend after the visit.
Hande is discharged and brought home by her parents. After arriving, she calls Ferit and tells her parents that she is calling her future husband, which makes them worried. Ferit answers her call, and she asks where he is and if he is working hard to free himself before their wedding. She then tells him to not forget her because she has been discharged and is now home, and she tells him to come see her because she misses him. Ferit agrees to visit her as Zümrüt and Hussein watch with concern.
The social workers arrived and spoke with Zeytin about his living conditions. They also asked Vedia where Ishan was, and she replied that he was abroad on business. The workers insisted on speaking to him to learn more about his relationship with Zeytin. Azade entered, introduced herself, and asked to speak to their director. She emphasized that Zeytin was well taken care of in their home and praised Vedia’s care.
After the visit, Vedia thanked Azade, saying their debt to her was growing. Elsewhere, Sinan barged into Yaman’s office to discuss their hotel loan. Yaman confirmed the loan was approved and said Azade scheduled a meeting later to discuss it. Sinan said only time would tell whether it was a good idea.
Meanwhile, Hande sat in the sun staring at her wedding dress. Betül observed her from a distance and told Yaman that Hande looked pitiful and only remembered the days leading to her wedding with Ferit. Hande spotted Betül on the phone and asked whom she was talking to. When Betül said it was Yaman, Hande grabbed the phone and asked Yaman why he had not called her. Yaman replied that he was buried in work but would visit her that evening.
Hande asked Betül why Yaman called her instead of her. Betül explained it was because he could not reach Hande directly. Later, Azade arrived with Leman, and Hande happily welcomed them inside.
Adnan was also busy speaking on the phone, concerned about the bank loan and wondering how they would handle the construction alone.
Nurse Sadet brought him coffee. He mistakenly called her Fereya, then apologized. Sadet asked if she resembled Fereya, and Adnan admitted she did. When she asked if he was angry, Adnan said no. Sadet said she could become Fereya, but she preferred being herself. Adnan smiled at her response.
Zümrüt and Betül thanked Azade for visiting, saying Hande was cheered up by it. Leman asked if Hande’s memory might return. Zümrüt said it was very likely. Azade emphasized that Hande was safe at home, which was what truly mattered, and suggested she see a psychologist. Zümrüt clarified that it was not about mental illness but emotional healing. Leman said it was a miracle Hande survived without serious injuries.
Zümrüt then thanked Arşe for donating her blood, without which Hande might not be alive. At that moment, Hande entered with coffee and asked who this hero Arşe was. Azade replied she was a poor girl who had lost someone dear at the hospital. Everyone agreed quietly. Hande said she owed Arşe her life, making everyone feel uneasy.
At Sancakzade Holdings, Yaman asked Sinan whether Adnan was aware of the loan. Sinan said Adnan’s time had passed and only Azade was in control now unknown that Adnan was already waiting in the boardroom. Azade entered, and everyone was stunned to see Adnan. Adnan questioned who made the decision to take a loan for the construction. Sinan asked him to calm down.
Azade claimed she had approved it. Adnan challenged her, asking how she planned to repay the loan in the event of a crisis. He warned that if another loan was taken, the debt would spiral out of control. He asked if any of them had a solution. Yaman said he had ended his partnership with Hussein. Adnan replied that he had met with the hotel departments and many were eager to work with them.
Yaman said it would be unwise to lease land and hotels and that partnerships should focus solely on management. Adnan said things were not that simple and criticized using loans as capital. Azade suggested that if he was dissatisfied, he could become a shareholder and present his own proposals. Adnan replied that he wanted more than that and he wanted his position back. Azade said they would take a vote.
Back at the mansion, Zümrüt confronted Hussein again and asked if he was ready to pay for what he had done. Hussein said their daughter had just come home from the hospital, but Zümrüt reminded him that Hande was alive, and it was time for justice. Hussein asked if she had not said that the real k!ller should be punished, and told her to wait one more day.
