Priam Falls. Eros’ Obsession For Power & Revenge Leads To A Series of Tragedies. Apollo Strives To Save The Day.
The episode begins with Priam confronting Apollo over how he had betrayed him. He laments that he’s signed his death warrant since lord Kixin would come after him. Apollo states that he merely did what was right and he must face the consequences of his actions.
Acknowledging him as his father, he urges him to come with him peacefully because he still has a chance to change for the better. However, Priam turns him back on him. He then pulls out his gúñ and shoots himself in the chest much to Apollo’s horror.
Selene is devastated over Priam’s death and Orcus entreats that they must leave the hideout to avoid getting caught. Eros is delighted when Nyx tells him that they should leave everything behind and start a new life together.
However, he’ll only do so after he’s gotten his revenge on Apollo. On that note, Nyx agrees to help him, taking him by surprise. Apollo has a talk with his uncle about his father’s death and his inability to help him. Troy is glad when Iris shows up with some officers as escorts.
Apollo meets up with Harmonia and she tells him about Icarus’ missing phone which holds the key to taking down Altare once and for all. Apparently, the group has assigned Eros with the task of retrieving said phone.
Nyx tells Dylan to leave and go and have a fresh start somewhere else. In the meantime, Troy gives Iris the package her late boyfriend had sent her but she refrains from opening it. Upon assembling his men, Eros riles them up to hunt down every single member of the Triangle.
Nyx overhears and a moment later, Apollo calls her on the phone to ask for her and Eros’ whereabouts. She agrees to cooperate on the condition that they won’t k!ll him. Upon getting wind of this, Eros gets upset and lashes out at her.
Nyx tries to talk some sense into him, saying that she’s tired of the life of violence and just wants them to live peacefully. However, Eros will hear none of it and refuses to turn himself in. He drags her out into his car just as the CIB begins to infiltrate the building. Eros escapes with Nyx and Dylan and Aion in different cars.
Apollo pursues them relentlessly on his motorbike while Eros orders for Dylan and Aion to finish him off for good. At some point after Nyx makes another futile attempt to talk some sense into Eros, she jumps out of the car and Apollo pulls over to pick her up.
The highspeed chase resumes and Aion opens fire and ends up shooting Nyx in the back, causing Apollo to crash. Apollo gúñs down Aion and with her dying breath, Nyx urges him to save Eros. By this time, Eros has pulled over in the middle of the road crying out in despair.
Dylan comes to take him away as the place begins crawling with CIB officers. Later, Eros ditches Dylan to drive away by himself and vent. Troy and Cronus convince Iris to check out the package. They turn on the phone and find that it’s password protected.
They decide to head home so Cronus will bypass the security. Unbeknownst to them, Eros had been notified once the phone had come online. He tracks them down and when the kids refuse to hand over the phone, he applies pressure.
Troy and Cronus strive to hold him off while the latter calls Apollo to ask for his help. At some point, Troy wrestles with Eros for his gúñ and he ends up getting shot as Apollo comes upon the scene. Eros snatches the phone and makes a run for it.
Apollo pursues him up the unending flight of stairs. He fends off a couple of foot soldiers of Altare but eventually, he’s surrounded by another wave of the enemy. Apollo is compelled to surrender. Hector arrives at the hospital while Troy is undergoing surgery.
He gets worked up over his son’s condition and Cronus strives to console him. Dylan tracks down Selene and Orcus to tell them about Nyx’s death. They resolve to let him join them in mourning. In no time, the wake is held and the CIB crashes it, courtesy of Atty. Theo’s carelessness.
As they’re being cuffed, Dylan breaks free and takes agent Shin hostage for Selene and the others to escape. Shin turns the tables and Dylan takes cover just as Atty. Theo is shot in the leg. Dylan holds off the cops for Selene and Orcus to get away, eventually getting himself k!lled.Read Final Episode on The Iron Heart Episode 88
