“Emma Uncovers Matias’ Secret as Luna Forces Camila to Choose Between Her Daughters”
After watching Emma walk away, Luna rushed to Elias, visibly upset. She confronted him, asking what kind of spell Emma had cast over him once again. Luna couldn’t understand why Elias, who was supposedly angry at Emma, still found it easy to be around her. She poured out her frustration, saying she had been patient, trying not to throw herself at him because she didn’t want to be a rebound.
Still, it hurt that he couldn’t love her the way he clearly loved Emma. She warned him that if he chose Emma again, she wouldn’t be able to forgive him, then stepped out of the car, leaving Elias in silence. Emma had sneaked into an event under the pretense of delivering materials to Luis, just to avoid raising suspicion with her guards.
When Luis asked what she was hiding from Camila, Emma apologized, saying it wasn’t her story to tell, and walked away with her guards trailing behind. Meanwhile, Elias drove to his old house, wanting to confirm if the mysterious person Emma mentioned was real. At the same time, Emma was at home flipping through an album, her expression darkening when she uncovered a photo of Matias.
At the old house, Elias heard strange noises. He called out, asking who was there, then chased after a fleeing figure. He shone a flashlight and demanded the person to stop. The figure froze, likely fearing Elias had a weapon. Back at Emma’s place, she removed one picture to take a closer look at Matias’ photo. A disturbing realization washed over her as fear reflected in her eyes.
As Elias drew closer to the man, the figure turned revealing himself to be Matias. Shocked, Elias bombarded him with questions, demanding to know how he could possibly be alive. Matias told Elias he shouldn’t have found him. Elias asked who they buried in his place and if he disappeared because he had murd£red his own family.
Matias denied k!lling Elias’ mother and sisters, though he admitted the blame weighed heavily on his conscience. He said he was the target that night, but his family got caught in the crossfire. Despite his flaws, Matias claimed he genuinely loved them and thought he could make up for his past sins by doing something good.
Emma was digging through Camila’s files when a flashback played out. It revealed that the night his family was murd£red, Matias came home to find a thug had already k!lled them. He fought the goon, managed to k!ll him, and then sobbed over his family’s lifeless bodies. To escape blame, he swapped clothes with the man and disfigured the corpse’s face using a piece of metal to fake his death.
Elias showed Matias the photo that sparked his search. Matias explained he had returned after the explo$ion, wanting to check on Elias, unaware he’d been spotted. When asked who gave him the photo, Elias admitted he didn’t know. Elias struggled to hold back tears and asked if he was going to be abandoned again. Matias said staying away was the best way to keep Elias safe.
Emma found a tattoo Camila had been searching for and compared it to one in Matias’ photo. It matched. At that moment, Matias fled the old house, ignoring Elias who tried to stop him.
Emma ran downstairs calling for Aurora, only to bump into Camila outside. She informed her that Aurora was missing, prompting Camila to send guards to search for her. In a flashback, it was revealed that as Aurora was about to run away, Camila attacked and imprisoned her.
Camila demanded the names of Luciano’s allies and threatened to keep her locked up if she didn’t comply. Back in the present, Emma confided that she had never forgiven Camila for her actions and had pleaded with her to let Aurora go. Camila promised to search for her.
At a safe house, Alice comforted Luciano’s body while Camila’s words echoed in her head insisting that the so-called k!ller groom was not a monster but a man, like Luciano and Juan Felipe, both of whom she had defeated. Alice, angered by this insult to Luciano, swore to bring Camila down.
Camila then sent Vito to confront Aurora and force her to speak. Meanwhile, Emma, clutching Matias’ photo, quickly hid it when Elias approached. He asked if she was alright, and she asked the same. She advised him to stop searching for his father, warning that whoever sent the photo might be trying to trick him.
Elias admitted she had a point. If his father were alive, he would’ve returned long ago. Emma was stunned by his response. Meanwhile, Aurora denied knowing any of Luciano’s allies. Camila didn’t hold back locking her away again. Vito scolded Camila for imprisoning Emma’s mother and hiding it from Emma.
Vito reminded her that the past four months were filled with lies and heartbreak. He insisted that telling Emma the truth was the right thing to do and asked if Camila was acting the same way she did with Fabio. Camila, irritated, asked him not to involve Fabio. She said she and Fabio may have had different opinions, but at least Fabio would’ve supported her, unlike Vito.
Vito replied that he was trying to make up for his past mistakes but wouldn’t support anything immoral. He pushed her to come clean to Emma.
Camila questioned him about which mattered more truth or protecting lives. Vito walked out. Later, Emma confessed to Fabio that Matias was connected to the chaos that ruined Camila’s life. She decided not to tell anyone, thinking hiding the truth would shield both Camila and Elias from further pain.
Luna was in a foul mood while decorating the Christmas tree. Antonia tried to cheer her up, but Luna complained that no matter what she did, Elias kept returning to Emma. Antonia was surprised, thinking Luna had moved on. Tessa then encouraged Luna to fight for Elias or risk losing him forever, just like she had lost in her own past.
Luna took the advice and went straight to Camila’s house, asking for a favor. Emma walked in and asked how Luna could be so sure. Luna mocked her for being hot and cold toward Elias acting like a damsel in distress one moment and a strong, independent woman the next. Camila was visibly uncomfortable watching her daughters clash over a man. Emma told Luna that she knew the truth and wouldn’t have pulled away from Elias if she had a choice.
Luna didn’t care. All she wanted was for Emma to say she’d back off from Elias. Emma didn’t answer. Alice, elsewhere, told her son she wasn’t keeping any secrets, saying that secrets had already ruined their family. She then received a call and excused herself. Emma fired back at Luna, calling her immature. She said Elias wasn’t some trophy to be won because he could decide for himself who he wanted in his life.
Luna cried that she met Elias first and had history with him. Emma retorted that she wasn’t taking Elias away. He already knew how she felt. Whether he returned those feelings or not was his choice not Luna’s. Camila stepped in, urging both girls to act maturely. She said they were both beautiful and smart and should know better than to argue over a man.
Luna, however, pushed further. She reminded Camila that she was her real daughter, and demanded her support. She lashed out at Emma, saying she didn’t belong there, especially being the daughter of a criminal. Camila stopped her, but Luna gave an ultimatum. If Camila wanted a relationship with her, Emma had to go. She stormed off.
Meanwhile, Agnes informed Alice that she had been trailing Matias. Alice said Elias would lead them right to his father. In a flashback, Agnes had seen Matias alive and secretly snapped a photo of him. She planted it in Elias’ car and eavesdropped during his emotional confrontation with Matias. In the present, Alice told Agnes to k!ll Matias, stating that his love for his son would be his undoing.
She warned Agnes to leave no trace. Agnes accepted and continued her surveillance. Matias began to sense he was being watched. Camila later approached Luna again, defending Emma’s actions and reminding her that the lies Emma told were for her sake. Luna, however, wasn’t moved and asked Camila to choose between her and Emma. Camila refused, saying both girls were equally important to her.
Later, Matias, now in hiding, was eating when a black cat appeared and drank from his water. The cat suddenly dropped dead, making Matias vanish. Agnes entered to find the place empty. Back at Camila’s, Emma apologized for causing a rift between her and Luna. Camila advised her to forget Elias and said she didn’t want her daughters fighting over someone they might not end up with anyway.
Emma said she couldn’t disappear from Elias’ life when he needed her. Camila questioned why, but Emma gave no real answer. Elias, still haunted by doubts, wanted to find his father again and get the truth. Intoy tried to stop him, but Elias was determined. Agnes later reported she couldn’t find Matias.
