“A Mother’s Rise, A Son’s Fall: Azade Takes Over, Ferit Walks Out”
Ferit stormed out of the house, only for Sinan to chase after him, grabbing his arm to stop him. Sinan demanded to know where he was going, reminding him that he had vouched to their mother that Ferit was an honorable man who would never pursue Arşe again. But Ferit, visibly furious, retorted that he wouldn’t stand by and watch Arşe be wrongfully imprisoned.
Sinan questioned whether Ferit’s actions were worth the heartbreak it caused their mother, warning him again how much she meant to him. Ferit, fed up, told Sinan to go ahead and hit him if that’s what it would take to make him stop interfering. Sinan, frustrated, told Ferit to get his life together and walked away.
Alone, Ferit pulled an envelope containing Arşe and Baha’s photos from his pocket and stared at it, deep in thought. Meanwhile, Yaman visited a sleeping Adnan, asking Alev to give them a moment alone. Seeing the medical equipment keeping his father alive, Yaman almost disconnected the IV.
He quietly spoke, “So you’re my father… You couldn’t even die in peace because of your sins.” As he walked out, he vowed revenge, swearing that the man who abandoned him would wish he had died. Outside the mansion, Yaman looked back with resentment, promising to destroy the very family and empire Adnan had tried to protect from him.
Ferit retreated to a secluded place once again, took off his wedding ring, and stared at the trees, reflecting on everything. Sinan kept calling him, but Ferit ignored every call. At the mansion, Leman entered and asked if Ferit had answered. Sinan said he hadn’t, expressing how he’s exhausted from the endless problems in their home.
Leman comforted him, asking him to stay strong, and they reminisced about their wedding. They hugged as Müge entered, and upon hearing that it was their anniversary, she pulled them into a group hug, excitedly suggesting a celebration. Later, Azade, fully dressed and elegant, prepared to leave. Adnan, impressed by her look, asked where she was going.
Azade reminded him that she told him she intended to rebuild herself and was heading to Sancakzade Holdings to reclaim control of the company. Adnan was concerned she was rushing, worried about being left alone while still recovering. But Azade insisted he was well cared for and could focus on healing.
She told him if he wanted to return to work, he wouldn’t get his chairman seat back but only a position suitable for him. Adnan argued that running a household was not the same as managing a company. Azade snapped back that handling a mansion was no easier because it involved managing people and emotions. She even joked he could now see whether children or clients were harder to satisfy. Before leaving, she asked him to write down anything the household needed.
Adnan accused her of declaring war against him, but Azade clarified that from the start of their marriage, he never appreciated her. With wisdom gained over time, she was no longer willing to be left behind. She referenced his past love, Feraye, saying that although it hurt to know she died giving birth to his child, she was moving forward and reclaiming her life.
Ferit later visited Arşe, but she harshly told him she didn’t want to see or speak to him. He insisted she stop being stubborn, as he was going to represent her legally. She refused, saying she’d rather rot in jail. As their argument escalated, he begged her to sit and listen.
She asked why he was so determined to be her lawyer. Ferit replied that he wanted to help her regain her freedom because she didn’t deserve to suffer in prison. Arşe said no one was waiting for her outside but Ferit said that didn’t matter since he only wanted justice for her because she was innocent.
Arşe fired back, saying he had already committed the greatest injustice against her, destroying her hope. Ferit ignored her pain and shifted focus since he wanted to catch the real k!ller of Baha, claiming that person was a threat to both Arşe and his family. Their romantic past was over, and he urged her to give him legal authority to fight for her innocence.
Meanwhile, Hande visited Yaman under the pretense of being nearby for a doctor’s appointment. She brought breakfast and insisted they spend time together, despite his reluctance. Yaman reminded her they hadn’t resolved their last argument. Hande brushed it off and said she didn’t want to be alone since Betül had already left. When Yaman jokingly suggested she should go to Ferit, she became sad and told him not to make plans that night because she’d be there.
Back at the station, Ferit began interrogating Arşe again, asking her about the night Baha died. Arşe clarified that Baha wasn’t truly her fiancé because she only said that to reduce his sentence. She helped him out of guilt, but Ferit questioned why she never told her husband, who was a lawyer, that Baha was a fugitive. Arşe explained she thought Baha would leave soon, and she owed him help.
Ferit pressed further, wanting to know how important Baha was to her. Arşe said Baha had gone to prison for her, and they were close. Ferit, clearly emotional, stepped outside, then returned to question her deeper about her connection to Baha. Arşe maintained that she only saw Baha as a friend, like a brother, though she knew Baha had feelings for her.
Ferit grew increasingly upset, questioning why she let Baha into their home and why she didn’t warn him when Baha tried to k!ll him. Arşe revealed that Baha had threatened her once she decided to come clean. She had begged him to leave and even gave him the money he gave her, hoping Baha would go away.
Ferit then told her Baha had revealed everything to him about how he and Arşe allegedly planned to use Ferit for money. Arşe, shocked and enraged, denied it, claiming she never led Baha on and never gave him hope. Ferit showed her the supposed old photos of them together, but Arşe insisted she had no feelings for Baha. Ferit declared he would find the real k!ller and prove her innocence before walking out, despite her calls.
Elsewhere, Adnan’s lawyer met secretly with Yaman and Bakhtiyar in Yaman’s office. He confessed that he had Adnan sign a will, but his conscience wouldn’t allow him to go through with it. Bakhtiyar said Ishan had betrayed the family, and once Adnan recovered, he’d report everything. But Yaman instructed them to go along with Ishan’s plans so they could see what he was truly up to. Kazim then called Ishan for a meeting, and Yaman and Bakhtiyar exchanged sinister glances.
At the company, Azade arrived with Sinan and called for a board meeting. Sinan admired his mother’s strength. During the session, Azade introduced herself formally to the board. Yaman appeared to congratulate her. After dismissing the rest of the members, she informed Yaman and the others that even if Adnan recovered, she would remain the chairperson of Sancakzade Holdings. Yaman wasn’t pleased, but Sinan smiled proudly.
Azade questioned Yaman about Hussein and Hande. Yaman claimed he cut ties with Hussein under Adnan’s orders. When she asked why, he said Adnan would be the best person to explain. Sinan thought it was the right decision, but Azade wanted to confirm it directly with Adnan.
Ferit barged into the meeting, explaining he had only just been informed. Azade coldly said the meeting had already ended and that he was too busy to care. Yaman teased Ferit about her taking the throne, but Ferit angrily told him to mind his business and stormed off.
Meanwhile, at the orphanage, Ishan and Vedia arrived to finalize the adoption of Zeytin. Vedia beamed with happiness, clearly moved by the moment. Zeytin, now officially part of their family, clung to Vedia’s hand as they left the building together. Later, as Ishan opened the trunk of his car, he paused inside was a black bag filled with cash, reminding him of a recent visit to the bank.
