Camila Closes in on Vida’s Whereabouts as a New Murder Shocks Las Espadas
At Dako Pa Roon, Agnes embraced Camila, expressing her pain and frustration. She was hurt that Camila chose to remain hidden, even from Manay Ichu, who had suffered deeply in her absence. Agnes confessed that ever since Camila was taken from them, all the happiness in Las Espadas seemed to vanish.
Agnes shared her own struggles after losing her mother, revealing how she had gone to Manila in hopes of building a better life, but her journey had been filled with hardship. Now reunited, she said it was time to begin a new chapter together. Meanwhile, Emma gifted Tsoknat her makeup kits, confident that Tsoknat would continue to improve her makeup skills.
Emma noted how Camila had been laughing in a way she hadn’t before not even during her time with Fabio, her father. As Camila spoke about how her pain had lifted the moment she heard from Luciano that Vida might still be alive, she was interrupted by a call from one of her investigators. The caller informed her that they had finally located the nurse she had entrusted Vida to during the prison fire.
Camila wasted no time sharing the news with Manay Ichu and Agnes. Agnes offered a warm embrace, but her eyes reflected a mix of concern and doubt. Elsewhere, Ornusa messaged Camila that she was at her house. While waiting, she received another text from someone claiming to have crystals and stones for her. Trusting the message, Ornusa decided to leave, telling Camila’s guard that she would return shortly.
Back at Dako Pa Roon, Iking, unable to confess his feelings for Agnes, prepared for work by putting on his gloves. As he was about to tend to a corpse, he heard a strange noise. He spotted a mysterious woman in red, almost like a wind-blown spirit. He told her the mortuary was closed, but she ignored him and walked ahead. Curious, Iking followed her.
The woman led him to Andres’ room but vanished. Iking questioned Andres about the woman’s whereabouts, but Andres replied she was already gone. Thinking Andres might have been secretly meeting women, Iking searched the room. Suddenly, a black cat appeared. Still puzzled, Iking pressed Andres for answers, but Andres simply stated that only the two of them had seen the woman.
Meanwhile, Camila instructed Emma to take care of Fabio while she and Vito left to search for Vida. Ornusa, on her way to meet Mrs. Cheong at the Cheong Stone shop, placed a call to Guada. However, Guada was angry, reiterating her earlier demand not to contact or approach her again.
A flashback revealed how Camila had once visited Guada and shared information about secret family matters things that baffled Guada.
She had no idea how Camila came to know those memories, especially since they had been erased. Ornusa later admitted to Guada that she had been the one to tell Camila out of fear, adding that Camila had paid her handsomely for it. Guada, feeling betrayed, threw Ornusa out and accused her of spying. Ornusa tried to warn her to be vigilant about her family, insisting Camila had been right all along.
At the jewelry shop, a strange figure wearing black trousers, white sleeves, a dark coat, and a cap stood silently completely motionless like a statue. Ornusa assumed he was the shopkeeper and criticized him for not locking the store. She asked for Mrs. Cheong, but the man remained silent and acted oddly.
He eventually locked the gate and attaĉked Ornusa. He $lammed her into the wall, dragged her down, then took some crystals and forcefully shoved them into her mouth. Coughing and desperate, Ornusa reached for a heavy object and hit him, knocking him to the floor.
She ran to the gate and cried for help, but the man recovered. She fled deeper into the shop and was horrified to discover Mrs. Cheong’s lifeless body. Trying to call Camila, she was dragged from behind and lost her phone. The attacker pulled her hair, but she managed to fight back and barricade herself in a room.
The man now revealed to be the infamous k!ller groom picked up her phone and noticed she had been calling Camila. Camila, unaware of the attack, answered the call but heard nothing. Inside the room, Ornusa desperately tried to survive. The k!ller groom broke down the door with a machete and overpowered her.
He tied her to a chair and, in a terrifying twist, sewed her lips shut while singing in a voice that resembled a woman’s. The eerie song hinted that the k!ller groom might not be a man after all. Outside, children played under the night sky. At the market, Agnes and Agot were pleased to hear that the plantation would soon reopen. However, their joy faded when news broke that a corpse had been found there. Agot went to confirm the body’s identity and it was Ornusa. Agnes appeared strangely pleased.
Emma, revisiting her memories, came across a burnt rose, triggering thoughts of Elias who once gave her a flower. Her eyes welled with tears. Meanwhile, Camila and Vito reached the location where the nurse had been hiding. Back at the flower plantation, Luna confronted Elias, upset that he hadn’t reached out since the night before. Scared and vulnerable, she asked him to promise never to leave her. They shared a moment of intimacy just as Emma arrived and witnessed it, her eyes full of regret.
At the nurse’s hideout, Camila heard someone crying. At the same time, Elias noticed Emma watching and quickly pulled away from Luna. Realizing someone was nearby, Luna turned around and found Emma. Vito suggested that Vida might still be alive. Camila asked if anything odd happened before the prison explosion. The nurse remembered seeing a jail guard who wasn’t on duty someone named Aurora but she couldn’t recall her full name. Later, Emma was walking alone and encountered Aurora, who pulled her into hiding behind a black vehicle.
Aurora was emotional upon seeing Emma grown up. She reminisced about the last time she left Emma at the chapel, telling her to stay there. Emma admitted she thought she would never return. As a guard approached, Aurora made plans with Emma to meet again the next day. Camila, consumed with guilt, blamed herself for not sensing that her daughter might be alive.
She regretted wasting years on revenge. Vito reassured her, explaining that she had only assumed Vida was gone and it wasn’t her fault. Suddenly, Vito received a disturbing call from Inspector Alejandro, with tragic news. Mayor Luis was anxious over the recent murders, fearing public panic. Alejandro confirmed that alongside Ornusa’s body, Mrs. Cheong had also been k!lled and Ornusa’s belongings were found at the scene.
Guada and Alice arrived, noticing Luis’s troubled expression. Guada took his phone and was devastated to see Ornusa’s picture. She broke down, telling them she had spoken to her just the night before. Alice snatched the phone and gave it back to Luis. Elsewhere, Manay Ichu and Tsoknat saw the news of Ornusa’s death online. Tsoknat suspected Luciano was behind it, but Manay Ichu clarified that someone had taken his remains and that the k!ller must be someone else.
At the hospital, Emma confided in Fabio that Aurora seemed off and fearful. She hadn’t told Camila yet, worried that she was already dealing with too much. She begged Fabio to wake up. Meanwhile, at the morgue, Camila, escorted by Alejandro, identified Ornusa’s remains.
Vito told her that what was happening was no coincidence. Someone was targeting Camila’s allies, first Rico, now Ornusa. She returned home and warned Emma to be cautious. Camila told Emma the nurse had no clue about Vida’s current location, but mentioned a jail guard named Aurora who wasn’t supposed to be on duty the day of the explosion.
