Edward & Jane Make A Shocking Discovery In Villa Clemente. Robert Confronts Marco.
Jane is dropped off outside Villa Clemente and Brock urges her to hurry up since she barely has an hour before she’s sent for crossover. Jane heads inside to say her final goodbyes to her family. Brock and Elias begin to wonder why cops are standing guard outside the house.
Meanwhile, Edward lurks nearby, determined to get into the house to find whatever is in there. On the phone, Jessie tells Berta about his encounter with Edward earlier and he warns her to be extra careful.
Berta observes as Edward sneaks upstairs and once he’s out of sight, she calls the officers to alert them of the intruder, suspecting that he could have a hand in what happened to her niece. As Edward wanders around the house, Berta shows up and tries to stop him from going into a particular room.
However, she doesn’t succeed and the commotion draws Jane’s attention. Edward is shocked to discover that Jane is still alive and lying in a bed in the room. Jane hurries over and she’s also shocked to see herself, alive but in a coma.
When the officers show up, Berta has them apprehend Edward and drag him downstairs. Alice and Robbie are kidñappéd by masked men along the road. Meanwhile, the cops interrogate Edward about what he knows regarding Jane’s accident but he remains silent.
Elias and Brock are also surprised to see that Jane is really alive. Jane overhears her aunt lamenting over her suspicion of Edward on account of Heaven’s Gate’s shady business dealings with Zion Insurance.
Mr. Guzman and the other staff at the Evergreen mansion learn of Jane’s condition and they begin to wonder who had wanted her dead. Speaking of, Jane tells Edward of her family’s suspicions about her accident.
She questions his løve for her and whether he has a hand in what happened to her. Ofelia confronts Andrea over the desperate stunt she had pulled to frame her for the supposed theft of her jewelry. She declares that if she tries to get her kicked out of the house again, then she would be the first to leave.
Andrea gloats and taunts her with how she had stolen the identity of someone who had died. She taunts her with her real name and warns her not to ever cross her again. At Heaven’s Gate, Robert questions Marco about Carl John’s questionable death and the ruse he had concocted to get away with his case.
Marco tries to play dumb and stupid but Robert won’t be taken for a fool. Berta finds it hard to believe that Edward can really talk to Jane’s ghost. She brings up the strange incident that occurred at Jessie’s house and Edward confirms that it was Jane’s doing.
Berta then asks him to prove his claims, wondering why he would even help her niece. Edward admits that he lõves her and could never hurt her. Still unconvinced, Berta challenges him to prove it. With Jane’s help, Edward tells Berta of some things that had happened in the past with her niece.
Eventually, Berta believes him and she begins to recount what happened on the day of Jane’s accident. After she had survived and it was evident that there was someone out to get her, Berta had listened to the concerns of lieutenant Arnaiz and had made everyone believe that Jane was dead.
Presently, Berta laments over how difficult it’s been to keep her alive with all the expenses for her treatment. Fortunately, when her father found out about what happened, he had helped with her treatment. The episode concludes as Jane looks on, overwhelmed with emotions.
