“Arşe’s Fate Hangs in the Balance as Ferit Fights for the Truth and Family Loyalties Shatter”
Ferit pays Arşe a visit in custody. Arşe, with bitterness in her tone, questions why he even bothered to come. Ferit says he came to offer help if she needed it he’s willing to do everything in his power for her. But Arşe breaks into tears, accusing him of already judging her as a criminal. She tells him to leave, saying that in his eyes, she’s the villain, while Hande is still an angel.
She even mocks the idea that she ever k!lled someone for money or never loved him truly, suggesting it was all a lie. Ferit refuses to believe that and insists she’s not that kind of person. Arşe coldly declares that she came to town for money nothing more. Ferit, hurt, asks how she could betray him like that and questions if she has any conscience.
But Arşe tells him to go, warning that someday, when he has children, he’ll understand why they’d need a better mother than her. Ferit softly tells her that he only ever wanted children with her, but Arşe turns her back, insisting he deserves someone better. Despite his pleas for her to look at him, she remains unmoved, and Ferit leaves heartbroken.
Sitting alone in his car outside the police station, Ferit is overwhelmed by emotion. He recalls the moment he checked Arşe’s pulse when she lay unconscious. In his imagination, he sees her smiling, comforting him with promises that she’s still there. But when he snaps back to reality, he realizes he’s alone.
At the Sancakzade mansion, a light-hearted moment around the coffee table is interrupted when the driver named Kerim arrives and requests Azade’s presence in the study. There, he shows her a video that captures Baha’s $hooting right in front of Arşe and shows her being drugged. Kerim confesses he filmed it himself, proving Arşe is innocent.
Azade, shocked, demands to know who’s behind the setup, but Kerim admits he doesn’t know yet though he’s determined to uncover the truth. Later that evening, Arşe is brought her meal when Hande arrives, sarcastically warning her to eat slowly or she’ll choke. Arşe coldly asks why she’s there, but Hande smugly says she just came to say goodbye, noting that Arşe will likely spend the rest of her life behind bars.
Arşe sees through her act, accusing her of coming to gloat, but Hande says it actually benefits her if Arşe disappears maybe she’ll even send her a postcard with Ferit’s photo. She mockingly offers to help if Arşe ever needs anything before walking away. Meanwhile, Azade instructs the maid to pack up all of Arşe’s belongings because she doesn’t want to see or hear anything about her again.
Ferit arrives just then and realizes the sack contains Arşe’s things. He tells the maid to set them aside because Arşe will collect them when she’s ready. This infuriates Azade, who asks if he truly believes a murderer will be allowed back into their mansion.
Ferit confronts her, asking if she’s certain Arşe is guilty, especially since the court hasn’t passed judgment. Is she a judge now? He reminds her that everyone is innocent until proven otherwise. Azade fires back, asking if he can also deny his wife’s infidelity. She declares that a dishonest woman doesn’t belong by his side.
Ferit, visibly angry, defends Arşe, reminding her that she is still his wife and no one not even his own mother has the right to speak ill of her. Azade warns Ferit that if he continues defending Arşe, she’ll stop recognizing him as her son. But Ferit, unfazed, says she can do whatever she wants he won’t be threatened.
As tensions rise, Sinan walks in and tells them to stop. Ferit coldly responds that only he gets to decide what’s too much when it comes to his life. Azade breaks down, accusing Ferit of following in his father’s footsteps, and says he should leave like his father once did. She breaks in distress as the others rush to comfort her, but Ferit walks out without another word. Sinan tells Azade not to alienate Ferit further and then goes after his brother to talk.
Elsewhere, Ishan visits Adnan, who helps him sit. Ishan laments that they’ve drifted apart. He says childhood is when real bonds are formed, and now, he feels uncertain about his place in the family. He asks whether Azade or the nephews will ever treat him like a father figure. He admits that only Adnan has never made him feel left out.
Adnan tries to reassure him, saying he’s not dead yet. In a flashback, Ishan is seen threatening Adnan’s lawyer with a guñ, demanding access to a secret document Adnan’s will. The lawyer hesitates, but Ishan forces him to open the briefcase as he takes photos of the will before letting the man go. The lawyer warns him not to let Adnan find out, but Ishan assures him he won’t.
Ishan then tears up, finally realizing how much Adnan valued him but also that he’s been left with debts and feels overlooked compared to Yaman. Back to the present, Adnan says he thought he was doing the right thing all his life, protecting the family. But now, he feels hollow. Ishan comforts him and leaves quietly.
Meanwhile, Sinan confronts Ferit, asking what he’s trying to prove. He reminds Ferit that Azade never accepted Arşe from the start. Ferit challenges him asking if he should have obeyed her and married Hande instead? Sinan says nothing. Ferit tells him to stay out of his business.
Sinan insists that as the elder brother, he has a right to speak. He urges Ferit to consider their mother’s feelings. But Ferit says he doesn’t care because Azade only wants control, not love. He warns Sinan not to be fooled by her words. Sinan fires back, saying their mother raised them through pain and betrayal, and still deserves respect.
Ferit sarcastically laughs, saying Sinan’s words wound him just like those who betrayed him. Sinan says that despite being brothers, things change when their mother is involved and storms off.
Yaman, lost in thought at a restaurant, recalls when Adnan promised to support him like a real son and proposed to Betül on his behalf. He takes off the watch Adnan gave him and cries, whispering that he shouldn’t deceive himself with false hope.
Soon, Ishan joins Yaman at the restaurant. Yaman asks why he called him. Ishan says it’s business-related. But then he drops the real issue, and he accuses Yaman of scheming with Hussein behind his back. Yaman denies it, saying he simply works with both. Ishan says that won’t do that he’s done with Yaman and has taken his share, and there ’s no more for him. Yaman can stay with Hussein and figure things out on his own. Furious, Yaman vows to get back at him.
Later, Hande visits her psychiatrist in high spirits, munching on an apple. She jokes that she only showed up to keep Zümrüt from nagging. She offers to read the doctor’s notes in return for his questions. The doctor asks if she’s genuinely happy. Hande scoffs at the idea. She admits she wanted Arşe gone but things spiraled, and now Arşe is in jail for murder.
When the doctor asks if she’s pleased that Arşe is suffering, Hande brushes it off, saying she doesn’t care about Arşe her only concern is Ferit. She admits she visited Arşe in jail, but the doctor questions her real motive. Finally, Ferit waits solemnly in the corridor as Arşe is escorted to trial. Handcuffed, she walks past him without a word. Ferit silently follows, a storm of emotion on his face.
As the court session begins, Azade takes her seat beside Ferit. Arşe’s defense lawyer shocks everyone by accepting the charges against her, explaining that the murder was an accident committed in a desperate attempt to shield her family from her vengeful ex-fiancé. Ferit, stunned, stands up in protest, declaring himself Arşe’s husband. He’s quickly told to sit back down, and reluctantly complies.
