Robert gives her the silent treatment. Eileen overhears the maids gossiping about the missing jewelry and Ofelia being suspected of stealing them. When Ofelia shows up, she approaches her and begins making mockery of her.
Jane has Edward drive her to her father’s house to talk to her, only to witness Valerie whining about how he went to see his other family. Jessie tries to reason with her, saying that he regrets abandoning his other children and he needs to make it up to them.
Later, he reads Jane’s letters and he expresses remorse and promises to do anything to make amends. Jane looks quite emotional. Robert decides to hire a private investigator to find information about Ofelia.
Andrea is upset that he hadn’t just fired her on the spot and Robert argues that they need to give her the benefit of the doubt. Eileen comes running in to show them a damning social media post about the insurance scam which implicates their company.
Jane tells Edward about the incident he had witnessed at her father’s house. She can now move on peacefully without anything holding her back. Lieutenant Arnaiz reprimands Alice for recklessly making that post online.
She justifies her actions and asks of the whereabouts of Monmon and Berta. Arnaiz states that they’re safe and it’s for everyone’s protection that their location stays a secret. He warns Alice that Jane’s k!llers could come after her with what she’s been doing.
Edward plays a new song for Jane at Lifeline Bar. He then spends some more time with her. Jane is confident that she’ll be able to cross over tomorrow since she and her father are finally okay. She believes Edward will be able to fulfill all of his dreams and live a good life before they see each other again.
She then urges him not to see her off tomorrow because she won’t be able to bear it. Susan tries in vain to reason with her daughter on her obsession with Edward. Back at Lifeline Bar, Edward laments over how they risk losing the lease contract for the Evergreen mansion because of complaints that had been made against the bar.
He suspects that Valerie is behind it and his buddies urge him to talk things out with her. Edward however plans to talk to Jessie about the issue. Andrea gives her husband a file containing the information report on Ofelia. It contains only a few details of her background.
However, a flashback reveals that the report contained Ofelia’s real name (Josey) and the fact that she was a prostitute. Edward arrives at the Marasigan law firm to overhear Jessie talking to Berta on the phone.
Once off the phone, he approaches him and asks him to speak to his wife so that she doesn’t cancel the lease contract. Jessie blows him off, saying that he has better things to deal with. Edward brings up what he heard when he walked in and Jessie gets worked up and demands to know what he knows about his daughter.
Following recent incidents, an investor decides to cut ties with the Montemayors and their business. The episode concludes with Jane being driven to the mansion her family has been staying in.
