Edward Remains Determined To Help Jane Accomplish Her Goals While Trouble Brews Back Home.
Edward asks Robbie and Alice about the whereabouts of Jane’s brother and aunt. They’re skeptical to give him any information since they don’t really know him. Edward then reveals to Alice how he had anonymously helped her to find the Valerio file.
Jane whines about how Alice and Robbie had betrayed her but obviously no one can hear her except Edward. After Alice calls the number that had tipped her off to confirm, she still questions Edward, asking whether he’s been stalking her. Edward reveals that he can see Jane’s ghost and he got her phone number from her.
Of course Alice thinks he’s crazy. During dinner, Jessie tells his wife and daughter that he needs a few more weeks to attend to some projects and business matters. Once he’s done, he’ll join them in the States. Eileen and Valerie hang out together to talk about their shared obsession with Edward.
Valerie begins whining about how the guy hurt her and Eileen urges her to forget about him because he’s nothing but trouble. However, Valerie strongly refuses cause she can’t accept the fact that she’s been replaced by another woman, much less a ghost.
Jessie talks to Monmon on the phone about his plan to visit him again at Villa Clemente. Valerie overhears and later talks to her mother about it.
Edward goes to see Jessie in his office to talk to him about Jane and Monmon.
As he blabbers about his intention to help his daughter’s spirit find some peace, Jessie flares up and demands for him to leave. At Evergreen mansion, Jane looks forward to resolving the unfinished businesses holding her back so she can finally cross over in peace.
Elias tells her that in case she changes her mind and wants to stay, then he’ll talk to Mr. Guzman about it. Patricio comes upon the scene and gives him a reality check, stating that it isn’t entirely up to him but the big man upstairs. Jane understands and assures him that she has no plans of staying.
Later, Patricio gives Elias an earful over the stunt he had tried to pull earlier. Edward and his band perform at Lifeline Bar and they impress their audience as usual. His parents commend him for such a great job. Alice and Robbie lurk nearby.
At home, Anton calls Ofelia on the phone to urge her to hurry up and pay him. Ofelia asks for more time and he throws in some threats which he’ll act upon if she continues to delay. Back at Lifeline Bar, Alice tells Robbie about her suspicions of Edward being an accomplice to the insurance scam.
Meanwhile, Jane recalls a photo she had seen in Villa Clemente when she disappeared and Edward searches the internet for the location of the house. Valerie tails her father to Villa Clemente and she’s devastated to see him with his other son.
Since Jane has only a few days left, Edward decides to stay by her side in order to make the most of the time. In the meantime, Robert excitedly talks to Ofelia about how good Edward had performed earlier.
The mood is dampened when Ofelia suddenly asks for another advanced payment. Andrea spies with wicked intentions. Later, she goes crying to her husband, telling her that someone has stolen her jewelry.
The servants at the house are rounded up and questioned and Ofelia goes on about how they’ve all been loyal for years now. It doesn’t take long for Robert to suspect Ofelia on account of recent incidents.
When he confronts her, she laments over how she could never steal from them after all the years of loyalty to him and his family. Ofelia goes to confront Anton about the stolen jewelry and he insists that he’s not the culprit. Their struggle stirs up unpleasant memories from the past.
