Eileen Connives With Valerie To Ruin Edward’s Image. Marco Is Slammed When New Evidence of The Insurance Scam Lands In Police Custody.
Susan tells her daughter that they’ll be leaving for the States while her father stays behind to take care of some matters before joining them. Valerie acts out and refuses to go without him. She laments that he’s staying for his illegitimate family and Susan points out that she probably doesn’t want to leave the country because of Edward.
Speaking of, Edward takes Jane to where she had been buried and she thanks him. He then takes her to the youth shelter so she can check up on her brother. Jane then asks for one last favor. At Zion Insurance, Alice receives the award for the top agent of the month.
Later, Marco congratulates her and she credits her success to Jane for always pushing her to give her best. Alice soon receives an anonymous text message telling her that the investigation report of Valerio is with Monmon.
Jane thanks Edward for fulfilling each and every one of her birthday wishes. She wonders how Valerio’s report had gotten mixed up with her brother’s belongings. Later that night, Alice discusses her recent discoveries with Robbie.
Berta brings them the envelope containing the report. At Heaven’s Gate, Robert assures Mrs. Bermudez that he’ll do everything he can to ensure that she doesn’t encounter any problems during her son’s cremation tomorrow.
After Alice turns in the new evidence at the police station with Robbie and Berta, lieutenant Arnaiz points out that it could have been a probable motive for what happened to Jane. Hence, there’s a great possibility that the accident wasn’t really an accident.
Valerie urges Eileen to help her in convincing her parents that Edward is going crazy. When Eileen doesn’t take the bait, she shows her a video she had taken where Edward seems to be talking to himself. She claims that she’s deeply concerned for his well-being.
Nanny Ofelia urges Edward to bring his løve interest home so that she and his parents will get to meet her. Officer Arnaiz pays a visit to the Montemayors to ask why they had cremated the bodies of some suspects in the case he’s been handling.
He urges them to postpone the cremation of Carl John Bermudez and Robert flares up and kicks him out of his office. Andrea tries to calm down her husband. They arrive home to a pleasant surprise from Edward. Eileen ruins the moment by asking her brother if his illness has returned.
She shows him the video and Robert and Andrea are surprised to see it. Even more so when they realize that their son is in løvê with a ghost. Edward insists that he’s not crazy and his sister doesn’t help matters.
Later when he realizes that she’s in cahoots with Valerie to ruin him, he confronts her in her room. Eileen justifies her actions, saying that he’s better off locked in a mental institution. Edward grabs her probably to shake some sense into her but ends up shoving her into the wall.
Andrea comes upon the scene to her daughter’s defense as Edward apologizes. Robert has an argument with his wife over their son’s condition and the incident earlier. Upon learning that the incriminating envelope is now in police custody, Marco lashes out at Gary and charges him to fix the mess before he deals with him.
At home, Kokoy gets pretty worked up to learn that Jane’s envelope is already with the police. He laments, saying that he had no idea it had something to do with her death.
Berta asks what kind of trouble he’s gotten himself into. When Kokoy spots Gary armed outside, he and his mother hurry upstairs where they barricade themselves in the bedroom. Gary breaks in and searches the rooms.
Kokoy finds an opportune time to slip downstairs with his mother but they’re caught and held at güñpoint. When Gary thrëâtens Berta, Kokoy goes at him and struggles for his gúñ. Eventually, Gary shoots him and Berta knocks him out from behind before hurrying to her son’s aid.
