Jane Vents Out Her Anger On Her Father. Alice Gets Wind of Marco’s Suspected Involvement In Insurance Scams.
Jessie actually drops off his own son at a nursing home, telling him that he’ll be well taken care of there. Jane is appalled and devastated as she lashes out at her father and curses at him. Anyway, Jessie takes Monmon inside to be admitted into the institution.
After Jane checks up on him, she asks Edward to take her to her father’s house so she will make him pay. Edward advises her against it, saying that she would only make things worse if she resorts to violence. Jane takes offense at that and decides that she no longer needs his help – she’ll handle matters herself.
Upon his return to Lifeline Bar, Edward’s buddies talk to him about Valerie’s apparent jealousy. He’s surprised when he learns that Brock and Elias had taken Jane to her father’s house. While Jessie dines with his daughter and wife at home, Jane pops in with a vengeance.
Her supersonic scream sends things flying through the air, terrifying the Marasigans. Edward shows up and tries to get her to stop but she ignores him. A projectile hits Valerie in the head, drawing blood.
Later, Jessie asks Edward if it was Jane who was really behind the incident earlier and he merely tells him to patch things up with her. At the Evergreen mansion, Patricio and Diana urge Jane not to give into her anger against her father. Jane justifies her actions and refuses to calm down.
She lashes out at them before storming off. Later at home, Edward reads a note Jane had wrote her father before. Ofelia snatches it away thinking that it’s a løve letter and she ends up spilling coffee on Andrea’s clothes.
Andrea doesn’t forgive as she disses the nanny. Upset over the recent incident, Valerie vows to make Edward and “that ghost” pay for what happened. Jessie tries to calm her down but her whining only gets worse.
Meanwhile, Jane makes deliberate efforts to patch things up with Diana and Mr. Guzman. She reconciles with the former but the latter gives her the cold shoulder. At Lifeline Bar, Edward talks to Jane about her outburst earlier, bringing back memories of time he spent at a psychiatric facility.
Anyway, they discover that Karina, Mr. Guzman’s daughter who was a singer years ago has been staying at a retirement home. In a bid to make peace with Patricio, Jane has Edward take her to the retirement home to see Karina who’s now an old woman.
With her memory hazy from Alzheimer’s, Edward plays a song which makes her remember her father. Mr. Guzman lashes out at Brock and the rest of the staff for not making the necessary arrangements for the souls of people who had died in a recent bus accident.
Later in his office, Edward shows him the video he had taken of his daughter. Jane recounts that she remembers their good times and doesn’t hold anything against him. Mr. Guzman gets emotional, grateful to Edward and Jane for giving him the closure he’s been longing for.
Alice meets up with Robbie to tell him about what she’s discovered about the Carl John case and two others. Apparently, there’s a pretty lucrative insurance scam going on which could involve Marco. She wants to report the anomaly and when Robbie points out that they don’t have any solid evidence, she decides to find some.
Jane changes into the white dress that had been prepared for her to cross over with. She has a quite emotional moment with Edward after she grabs her hand, recalling their memories together. Jane carries on to the magic elevator, leaving Edward behind.
