Celine & Brock Reconcile. With Jane’s Help, Edward Finally Makes Peace With His Traumatic Past.
Madam Diana has a heartfelt conversation with Jane about her tragic life story. She laments over how she had ruined her child’s life with a decision she made, adding that she understands Jane’s situation.
Later, Jane tries to talk things out with Celine regarding her conflict with Brock. She urges her to make peace with him since what happened to them wasn’t his fault. Brock shows up and on his cue, Edward joins them and shows her a video he had made with Celine’s mother for the closure she’s been yearning for.
Celine thanks both Edward and Brock for helping her. Elias doesn’t take it kindly with Edward for meddling and breaking their rules. Mr. Guzman calls for order and hands Jane the files she had asked for to help Edward with his situation.
Celine and Brock reconcile and spend some time together following the recent incident. Edward is surprised to find out that Dado had also stayed at the Evergreen mansion but hadn’t been able to cross over when he reached his 40th day.
Now a wandering soul, he probably has amnesia and might not be able to recognize him even if they find him. Anyway, Edward finally tracks down Dado with Jane’s help and when he fails to recognize him, he reminds him of their time together and apologizes for what he did that led to his death.
After they take him to the Evergreen mansion, Dado remembers and urges Edward to stop blaming himself because what happened wasn’t his fault. He says he’s already accepted everything and is ready to pay for the sins he committed.
This time, he’s able to cross over through the magic elevator but ends up in hell much to Jane’s disbelief. Later, Jane asks Patricio about it and he tells her that where one goes after death is determined by how much good he or she did while alive.
Ofelia is surprised and on edge when Anton finds where she works. She refuses to let him inside so Anton demands her to pay him back some money she borrowed from him before. Ofelia agrees to meet him tomorrow to give him the money.
Edward is grateful for Jane’s help earlier and now with the burden of guilt lifted off his shoulders, he offers to pay her back in kind. Jane has him drive her to a children’s park and when he complains that the place is dark, Elias turns on the lights per her request. Jane and Edward have fun playing a game of tag. Eventually, Edward tells her how happy he’s become.
