Jane & The Evergreen Staff’s Desperate Attempt To Ruin Edward & His Band Backfires.
The episode begins with Robert lashing out at an employee of his for letting a 10 million account slip through their fingers. He fires the guy on the spot. Alice has a talk with Robbie about the Gregorio case and the debt he owed which could have been the motive for someone taking him out.
While Andrea is working, Ofelia brings her a cup of coffee and she lashes out at her, saying that she didn’t ask for tea. Berta confronts her son for stealing their money and gambling it away. Kokoy blames Jane for their money problems but his mother won’t hear any of it.
Monmon defends his sister and Kokoy shoves him down, upset that his mother keeps taking his side. Marco asks Robbie why he had refused his job offer at the company. He figures out that he had quit before because of his breakup with Jane and how he had cheated on her.
Robbie claims he hadn’t really cheated; he ended things with Jane because she was too controlling and bossy. Marco then offers to help him find a better job elsewhere with his connections since Zion no longer has any vacancy.
Meanwhile, Celine has a heartfelt conversation with Jane about her one lifelong regret – eloping with Brock and leaving her mother behind. Brock shows up and an argument ensues as he asks if she still blames him for how they died.
Jane mediates between them, urging them to let go and forgive each other. Edward and his band have another performance at the Lifeline Bar with a bigger crowd than before. The Evergreen staff strive to scare off the audience again but their efforts backfire.
Andrea makes the necessary arrangements for a client at Heaven’s Gate with some help from Ofelia and the other staff. Ofelia is unsettled to run into Anton. Following Lifeline band’s successful gig earlier, Jane introduces Mr. Guzman and the others to Edward who’s grateful for how they helped to impress the crowd.
He asks for their help to impress their customers every night. Patricio turns him down, even when a couple of ghosts urge him to reconsider since the band alleviates their boredom while they’re yet to cross over.
Diana and Jane strive to convince Patricio to agree to Edward’s offer since it’s a win-win for them and Edward and his band. Edward shows up playing a melody with his guitar, sparking Patricio’s memory with his daughter. After a while of listening, Mr. Guzman flares up and kicks everyone out of his office.
Later, Jane talks to Edward about the incident earlier. She brings up her situation and it’s relation to his and Patricio’s. She asks for his help to make peace with her father so she would be able to finally cross over.
Edward agrees but only if she helps him in return. And then begins the bickering. Valerie meets up with Edward and blabbers about how she’s now open to sharing him with his band.
Edward gives her a piece of his mind over the fire incident at Lifeline Bar. A flashback reveals how Jane had ratted Valerie out. Presently, Valerie plays dumb but Edward won’t be taken for a fool as he declares that they’re done.
Patricio confides in Jane about how he had also left his family behind like her father – they wanted nothing to do with him when he regretted his mistake and went back to them. Anyway, Mr. Guzman gives Jane the goahead with Edward’s offer.
