Edward Drives Away Jane & Her Allies After Discovering The Shocking Truth. The Ghosts Return With A Vengeance.
The episode begins with Edward calling out Jane for all the things she had done to him. To top it all, she had also deceived him. He demands for the truth and as Jane tries to explain, he cuts her off and tries to grab her, only to go right through her.
The shock hasn’t yet fully registered on Edward’s face when some lost spirits begin wandering around. Edward spooks and makes a run for it. Madam Diana comes over and reiterates the promise they made to help her cross over and not end up like the others.
Aunt Berta decides to take Monmon to see Jessie his father at his office and the boy can’t help but to think that she’s also abandoning him. Berta says it’s for his own good. Upon getting to the architectural firm, she tries to convince the receptionist to let them in.
Susan shows up to see them. She goes inside and when she returns after a while, she declares that her husband doesn’t want to see either of them.
Monmon storms off, saying that he never wanted to see his father in the first place.
Edward struggles to wrap his head around the shocking discovery. Jane shows up and comes clean to him about everything and tries to make him understand why she did what she did. However, Edward refuses to listen. In no time, he and his buddies bring Hilda, a spiritualist to the Evergreen mansion to drive out the ghosts.
Eileen whines to her mother about how her father favors her brother to run the family business. Andrea relates with her but makes it crystal clear that she would always choose her over her brother. Eileen asks if she løvês her more than Edward and she doesn’t take it kindly when Ofelia butts in. Andrea gives her the stink eye.
While Hilda sets up to begin her ritual with Edward and his buddies chanting a mantra, Mr. Guzman rallies everyone to fight back but it proves futile. Edward looks on as Jane and her companions disappear one after the other.
On the phone, Valerie assures her mother that she’ll find a way for Edward to leave the Evergreen mansion for good. Edward and his buddies gladly look forward to the soft opening of their band at the Lifeline Bar.
However, things take a turn for the worse when they find the storage room ablaze. In their attempts to put out the flames, Edward is almost knocked down by falling debris if not for Jane’s timely intervention.
Later, the guys discuss about the incident which was supposedly caused by faulty wiring. Valerie shows up conveniently and strives to butter up Edward. When Eileen learns of the soft opening of her brother’s band at the Lifeline Bar, Nanny Ofelia tries to convince her not to tell her parents about it.
Meanwhile, the Lifeline band perform at the the resto-bar where considerable audience has pulled in. Valerie even takes a video of the performance on her phone. The Evergreen ghosts return with a vengeance and they initiate their revenge with their antics, practically scaring everyone away.
Edward blows a fuse and declares that he’s not scared and will never leave the place. Jane and her companions celebrate their victory and Mr. Guzman notes that it’s time to honor their promise to her.
