Jane Cooks Up A Cunning Scheme To Manipulate Edward, Causing A Rift Between Him & Valerie.
Edward has a talk with one of his buddies about his dream to open a restaurant-bar. Once off the phone, he ignores Valerie’s phone calls and picks up his guitar to play a song. Jane shows up in time to observe him. During the drive back to the Evergreen mansion, Jane talks to George and the others about Edward and how he seems to surprise her.
George asks if she sympathizes with what he’s been going through in spite of their plan to protect the Evergreen mansion. Jane denies it and claims that she’s just been gathering intel to use. At Heaven’s Gate funeral home, Edward counsels his sister not to let go of her relationship with her boyfriend so easily and she gives him an earful and storms off.
During dinner at home, Robert commends his daughter for closing an account ahead of schedule. He offers to treat her with whatever she wants but she turns him down. When Ofelia tries to get her to reconsider, Eileen snaps at her and Robert makes her apologize.
When Edward spots Cecille (Jane), he questions her and she claims that she wants to get a memorial plan for her estranged father. Edward doesn’t believe her so she puts on a ridiculous show of being in grief. Jane sells the act and laments over how her father had died of a heart attäçk before they could reconcile.
Edward sympathizes with her and states that they should talk about the memorial plan over dinner. Alice and Robbie visit Monmon to check up on him after he lost his sister. The creep who broke into the house is on the phone with his boss (Marco). The guy demands for him to keep looking for a particular file of Jane’s that could cause him problems if exposed.
Upon returning to the mansion, Jane tells the staff about her dinner meeting with Edward. She blabbers about the strategy she would use to accomplish her mission. Madam Diana and the others help her get ready. Edward is mesmerized when he lays his eyes on Cecille (Jane) in her beautiful dress.
Madam Diana and Celine her niece show up to sell another act as they extend their condolences to Cecille. After they leave, Edward takes Cecille to a table to place an order. Obviously the waiter sees only him but he insists that he’s there with his date. As people begin staring in his direction, Brock intervenes and Edward gives him his order.
Cecille begins with her emotional blackmail and gets Edward to confide in her about his own problems with his parents. Eventually, Edward makes it crystal clear that he would never drop the project he’s been working on. Jane feigns an upset stomach to go and vent out in the bathroom.
Celine materializes to notify her that Edward’s girlfriend just showed up. They hurry outside to find Valerie questioning Edward. George smears lipstick stain on Edward’s shirt to cause a fight between the couple. When Valerie sees it, she lashes out at him, accuses him for cheating on her and declares that they’re over.
After she storms off, Cecille (Jane) comes over to do damage control. She takes Edward somewhere to cheer him up and encourage him to pursue his dreams. She also urges him to sing her a løve song with the karaoke machine. Eileen whines to her mother about how her father had humiliated her in front of “that maid”.
Later, Andrea spies as Robert thanks Ofelia for sticking with them even though she had a better job offer abroad. Jane resolves to take Edward home after he’s gotten himself drunk. She thanks Mr. Guzman for sending madam Diana and the others to help her.
