Jane’s Vacation Leads To The Most Shocking Turn of Events. Edward Decides To Buy The Old Haunted Building.
Edward meets up with his band mates to rehearse but the guys point out the fact that they don’t have any gigs lined up. They consider getting regular jobs but Edward urges them not to give up on their dreams.
Valerie soon joins them and tells them about how she had been busy dealing with selling an old property of her grandparents. Edward considers buying it for business purposes, only to be told that there’s a problem with the place.
In the meantime, Jane gets into her car headed for the hotel for a vacation stay, oblivious of the fact that she’s being tailed by someone. While driving, she texts her best friend to apologize to her and almost collides with a van. During the drive, a phone call comes in from work so Jane decides to pull over.
Out of nowhere, the car that has been shadowing her rams into her car from behind multiple times, knocking her out. When Jane regains consciousness, she finds the road deserted so she carries on to the Evergreen mansion where she’s received with so much warmth by the staff.
After she’s taken to her room though, she complains because it’s just a one-bedroom when she had requested for a two-bedroom for her and her brother. Jane goes to confront the manager and she’s exasperated that every single room in the hotel is the same as hers.
After getting the shock of seeing some ghosts, she runs out of the place and gets onto a bus headed straight for home. At home, Jane is exasperated to find her landlady and son going through her things. They take her credit card with the intention of going to clean out her account.
Jane tries to snatch it back but her hand goes right through the thing. The guy who had hit Jane’s car disposes of her car in the river before notifying his boss that the job is done. The hotel driver shows up at the house to pick Jane up and she’s taken back to the Evergreen mansion where Mr. Guzman reveals to her that she’s a ghost.
Also, the hotel and it’s staff are all not of the physical world. In no time, Edward arrives at the rundown property with his guys and Valerie, and some women chanting a mantra – they’re allegedly experienced in ridding ghosts from houses they inhabit.
The guys don’t believe in any of that so they want construction to begin as soon as possible. Jane sees Edward and though he doesn’t see her, he senses her presence somehow. Later, Jane is devastated when she recalls that she had actually died from the accident.
She’s welcomed back to the Evergreen mansion, a haven for ghosts until they cross over to the afterlife after 40 days. If she doesn’t move on after 40 days, then she’ll be stuck in the world as a wandering spirit. Edward and his parents (Robert and Andrea) extend their condolences to Mrs. Carmela, a pregnant woman who lost her husband recently.
Later, the Montemayors discuss the offer to present the grieving widow. Edward beats Eileen (his sister) to the chase as he reveals that he had already gotten the woman to agree on their most exclusive memorial package. The Montemayors own a funeral company called Heaven’s Gate.
Meanwhile, a woman at the Evergreen mansion is lead to cross over after her 40 days is up. Robert has a heart to heart with his son and urges him to focus on the company because he would be the one to inherit the business. Eileen looks on in disbelief as the episode comes to a conclusion.
