“Hearts Divided, Loyalties Tested: Emma Caught Between Love and Secrets”
The episode begins with Manay Ichu began interrogating Fabio, now going by the alias Edmundo, about how he first met Emma. Fabio recounted that Emma had once done the makeup for his late mother. At the same time, Camila checked in with Urnosa regarding the task she had previously assigned involving Elias.
Urnosa confirmed that Elias was, without a doubt, in love with Emma. Camila quickly added that the feeling was mutual—Emma had feelings for him too. Urnosa described Elias as a genuinely decent man. However, Camila, suspicious because Elias was Vito’s adopted son, feared he might ultimately hurt Emma.
Meanwhile, Luna took a reflective pause, reminiscing about her childhood with Elias. Camila then received an update from her staff that Fabio had canceled his trip and was already back in the Philippines. Camila soon spotted Fabio as he took Emma with him.
Emma pleaded with him to speak to Camila and give her the chance to explain, but Fabio firmly refused, claiming that nothing Camila had to say mattered. Camila was stunned to see Fabio’s return to Las Espadas.
When their vehicles crossed paths and came to a sudden stop, Emma’s face hit the seat in the chaos. What followed was a fiery confrontation as Fabio tried to take Emma with him, and it nearly turned violent. Meanwhile, Elias opened up to Aran and Ingrid, confessing that he had already expressed his love to Emma.
When Aran asked how Emma reacted, Elias said she was uncertain of her own emotions. He also revealed that he had a heart-to-heart with Vito, who presented him with two choices—bury his feelings or fight for them. Elias declared he would fight for Emma and asked for his foster parents’ blessing.
Back at Camila’s hidden chamber, Fabio found her lighting candles. He confronted her, accusing her of deceiving him and dragging Emma into her schemes. He condemned her selfish behavior, pointing out how her actions endangered Emma.
Meanwhile, Aran proposed that Ingrid slap Emma and warn her to stay away from Elias. He became emotional as he stressed how they had raised Elias with care and didn’t want a girl to disrupt his life. Camila defended Emma, saying that she had willingly joined their investigation.
Fabio countered that Emma only helped because she cared for Camila, not because of duty. He questioned Camila’s motives and argued that she had put Emma at risk. He demanded to know why she was abandoning everything they had worked for. Determined, he said he wouldn’t leave without Emma.
Camila eventually said the choice was Emma’s. Emma, torn but resolute, decided to stay with Camila. Heartbroken, Fabio left, only for Emma to run after him and apologize. Fabio told her he regretted making her believe Camila still knew how to love, as her current actions proved otherwise.
Later that night at a bar, Elias confided in Intoy about his confession and how he had already told his parents. He admitted they were uneasy since they barely knew Emma, so he planned to introduce her to them soon.
As they celebrated with drinks, Luna showed up and warned Elias that Emma might betray him one day. Intoy dismissed the warning as jealousy, but Luna insisted her concern was genuine. She reminded Elias of her unwavering support since childhood. Elias appreciated her care but explained that he saw something in Emma others didn’t.
Elsewhere, Fabio apologized to Emma for ever making her trust Camila’s love. Emma reminded him that he was the one who encouraged her to help Camila find peace so she could truly be happy. A flashback showed Fabio gifting Camila a watch on the anniversary of the day he found her. He asked her if she ever had feelings for him and vowed to fight for her no matter what.
Emma returned to Dako Paroon and sent Camila a message, anxious about the tension between her and Fabio. That night, she had a disturbing dream in which Fabio violently fought with Camila, even strangling her. Emma tried to intervene, only to wake up, shaken and breathless.
Meanwhile, Camila told Fabio that he once gave her the strength to keep going and that she was on the verge of finally uncovering the answers she’d long sought. She asked him to leave, believing it was for the best. But Fabio made it clear—he was no longer walking away. Instead, he was staying to help her in her mission.
The next morning, Emma returned to the safe house and was pleasantly surprised to find Fabio there. Her heart swelled with joy knowing her Papa Fabio had chosen not to leave. Before Emma departed again for Dako Paroon, Fabio hugged her and reminded her that she could always call him if she ever needed rescuing.
Later, Camila regrouped with her team and revealed new information. She disclosed that Tatiana was involved with Sonny Teno, a man who had a tattoo similar to the one seen on the attacker the night Javier was killed. Fabio raised suspicions that Vito might also be involved and warned that Emma could be walking into danger.
He urged Camila to consider the possibility that Vito already knew more than they did. When Emma arrived at Dako Paroon, Tsoknat ran to her in a panic. Emma feared something terrible had happened to Manay Ichu. But instead of a crisis, Emma found herself amid a grand romantic gesture. The space was filled with red roses and delicate petals scattered across the floor.
As Emma wandered through the flower-filled setting, Elias appeared behind her with a single red rose in hand. Emma, puzzled, asked what the flowers were for. Tsoknat, smiling, teased her for asking such an obvious question. Elias, quiet but beaming, handed her the rose without saying a word.
