Emma Comes Back, Elias Rejoices, and Luna Plots in the Shadows
Elias had a deep conversation with Intoy as he recalled the moment he asked Emma if she felt something for him. He pondered aloud whether Emma had feelings for him and was simply holding back, or did she truly feel nothing at all and never would? Intoy listened as Elias laid out his thoughts, trying to make sense of Emma’s actions.
Meanwhile, back in Las Espadas, Manay Ichu, Tsoknat, and Iking speculated on Emma’s sudden departure. Tsoknat teased that Emma and Elias probably had a lover’s spat, which might have pushed her to leave. Iking wasn’t thrilled about Tsoknat taking over as the make-up artist again, but Tsoknat was delighted to reclaim her job.
Emma apologized to Camila for leaving without warning. She explained that her decision wasn’t Elias’ fault, but Camila, with stern eyes, warned her never to bring up Elias in her presence. She pressed Emma to confess what was really going on between them. Camila, who raised Emma, claimed she could always tell when Emma was hiding something.
Their tense talk was interrupted when Fabio arrived. Later on, Camila demanded an explanation from Emma about her sudden trip to Buena Tierra. Emma confessed they had a minor misunderstanding. Fabio tried to calm things down, saying Emma was old enough to make decisions for herself. He even invited Emma to join him on a trip to the United States after his business in China.
Elsewhere, Alejandro informed Vito that despite his efforts, the suspect wouldn’t confess. He suspected the suspect was covering for the Mayor, especially after Tatiana’s statement. Vito agreed, believing another person was behind it all. He handed Alejandro the mysterious woman’s watch and revealed that this woman had leaked the mayor’s video and even appeared at the masquerade ball.
The Mayor, desperate to cover his tracks, had ordered the murder of the imprisoned waiter and later sent someone after Marvin Cruz, making it nearly impossible for Camila’s team to trace him.
That night, Camila had a terrifying nightmare and woke up in tears. Emma, hearing her cries, came to comfort her.
The next day, Elias visited Dako Paroon. Manay Ichu informed him that Emma had left for a funeral in Manila. Meanwhile, Fabio left for China. Before his departure, Camila prepared for their return to Las Espadas to continue what they had started.
Elias was clearly affected by Emma’s absence and blamed himself for her decision to leave.
Later, Camila opened up to Emma about the nightmare she had. In the dream, Emma was heartbroken, clutching her chest, and crying after Elias betrayed her—Camila warned her to be cautious. As they traveled back to Las Espadas, Emma shared with Camila her experience in the cave and Elias’ claim that he had seen the killer bride. Camila brushed it off as a product of their frightened imagination.
Meanwhile, Vito had a brief talk with Elias, asking about Emma. Elias mentioned she went to Manila but assured him she would return. Unbeknownst to them, Camila was observing their conversation from afar. Emma confided in Tsoknat, saying she was unsettled by a person whose forgiveness seemed so unusual, someone whose pain chilled her to the bone.
That evening, Elias felt something strange. His car wouldn’t start, and he sensed a presence around him. Camila was lurking around his apartment like a ghost. The eerie feeling startled Elias as he searched for his phone. Just as he found it, Ingrid appeared, startling him even further.
Back in Dako Paroon, Emma asked Manay Ichu if a good person could truly change for the worse. Manay Ichu replied with a question of her own—was Emma referring to Camila’s spirit turning into something vengeful? Camila, feeling torn, rode a horse through the Dela Torre property and cried alone, haunted by visions of Vito, Elias, and her troubling dream about Emma.
While Camila mourned in solitude, Luna was having a wild night at the bar, celebrating Emma’s supposed disappearance. She danced, toasted, and even told Luis that now she could finally win Elias’ heart. But her joy was short-lived—Luis showed her Emma’s message, confirming she was back in Las Espadas. Stunned, Luna called Elias as Luis walked away.
The next morning, Elias drove back to Manay Ichu’s house, hoping to see Emma again. Inside, Manay Ichu started coughing. Emma offered help, but Manay Ichu insisted she was fine and reminded Emma that she seemed more in need of help, having stayed awake all night. Emma had been reflecting on Elias’ confession.
The memory made her laugh, and Manay Ichu became curious. Emma brushed it off, telling herself to stop thinking about Elias, unaware that he was already at the house watching her from outside. Seeing her again, Elias lit up with happiness. He ran inside and hugged Emma tightly, overjoyed. Butterflies fluttered in his chest as he held her close.
Their moment was interrupted by Manay Ichu’s cough, making them pull apart, though she smiled at their affection. Elias also started coughing, seemingly overwhelmed with emotion. Manay Ichu teased Elias, asking if he was mocking her for coughing. A flashback showed Elias coughing as he held Emma’s waist while riding Luciano’s horse.
Back in the present, he assured Manay Ichu of his genuine intentions with Emma. Then, with a big grin, he said his goodbye and left, waving to Emma through the window. Overcome with joy, Elias danced around and even struggled to open his car door from excitement. Manay Ichu, speaking like a mother, promised Emma she wouldn’t interfere in her personal life but reminded her to be careful with matters of the heart.
Before Elias could drive off, Emma came running with a list of errands from Manay Ichu. As he took the list, his fingers gently brushed hers. Both of them were giggling and giddy as they continued their conversation. Emma asked if he really thought she had left for good. Elias replied that after confessing his feelings, she vanished, which made him think she had run away.
Emma playfully responded, saying, did he really believe a girl would flee just because a guy opened up about his feelings? She asked if he ever looked in the mirror. Elias teased her, asking if she was about to call him handsome. Their smiles widened. Emma reminded him again that she wasn’t ready for a relationship and that her return to Las Espadas wasn’t about love.
Elias listened quietly. When she asked if he was paying attention, he just kept smiling, clearly happy to see her. She demanded he stop smiling, but he told her the smile came from within. As he turned to go, he said goodbye, but Emma smiled to herself. Nearby, hidden behind a tree, Luna was burning with jealousy, watching their awkward yet sincere exchange.
Elias, elated, jumped and danced, singing his yes-song as he opened his car—only making Luna more furious. Later, back at Dako Paroon, Emma hummed a cheerful tune while applying makeup to a corpse. The joyful sound made Tsoknat and Iking dance. Tsoknat teased that Emma was clearly in love, but Emma insisted she was only humming.
Tsoknat claimed the person Emma loved, loved her back—a rare kind of luck. Iking interrupted, warning Tsoknat not to speak for others, but Tsoknat continued teasing Emma, saying everything pointed to her being head over heels. Soon, Manay Ichu called for Emma and told her someone was looking for her. When Emma saw who it was, she froze—Fabio had returned.
